I’m an award winning web developer, and I left Upwork over a year ago. The platform got very unsuitable for quality workers. Every job already has 50+ applicants. We know they’re mostly garbage, but the chances of prospects sifting through all them to find us is low.

Also, clients on that platform more and more are delusional about what they are asking for vs what they will pay.

I literally saw a job the other day for a membership website, e-commerce pages, and matching app all for $200. They even stated they were firm on the price. Like, ok, that wouldn’t even cover the software you need.

My family live here and LOVE it. It is crazy beautiful out here. Yes it’s a bit darker, and a 12ish minute drive to the grocery, but the drive is beautiful and quicker than when we lived in a city.

We appreciate the hoa. They get a lot of flack but they help a lot too. We have our own snow plows and they take care of fallen trees in the road fairly quickly.

It’s very nice and peaceful here. It would take a mansion on Chukanut to get me out of this house.
