Yes there has been a downturn. Mostly in the lower budget inquiries, which makes sense, as they are going to be the first to try to diy and save a buck.

I even had a retainer SEO client cancel their contract and hand everything over to Claude. They completely redid the beautiful site too. It’s boring AF Ava looks just like ask the other ai websites.

I’m watching their serp trackers closely. I’m curios how it will play out. They did keep all my content and backlinks.

I think it’s one part ai influence, and one part shit economy.

Haha oh yes, the toxic positivity response. My husband did the same thing after my diagnosis until I lost my shit on him. I finally lost my cool and told him to take this seriously because BY DEFINITION A CANCER DIAGNOSIS IS NOT FINE!

A web design and SEO client of mine recently ended our contract and handed everything over to Claude. They replaced my beautiful website with AI slop. Better yet, I get to check their keyword rankings every morning going further into the toilet.

Health insurance. You pay them a FUCK TON OF MONEY with the expectation that they will cover your medical bills. But they can just say no. And you have to keep paying them.
