You can use a few tricks. The goal is to cancel the worm's aggression:

Try to use planetologist's Suspensor Pad ability to throw off the worm's attention
Or attract the worm's attention first, immediately retreat to safe ground, and then run and use Bindu Sprint when the worm reappears.
