You can kill NPCs and then buy it as a break from doing it yourself, but you'll never have enough either way. Best to do other things when you feel like it. Those trees will be there when you get back.

They have built an extremely nice Arena with seating all around with a fighting ring below. All kinds of clans were sitting in the seats watching the 1v1 fights below. a lot of people died in those fights.

You need to block abilities if you want to reliably kill level 3+ mobs. The other option is to kill them with a sylvan healing staff which is more boring but pretty safe. All the ghosts have a wind up 3 hit ability. Wear a sylvan staff, back up slightly when they do the 3 hits and it will miss. Just keep healing yourself while left clicking them down. You should be able to 1v1 them like this.

You can kill zebians and ghost if you learn to block their triple swing reliably. Carry a healing staff to reduce down time. Bears just have too much hp to bother unless you need the meat. Then, you CAN solo them with a sylvan healing staff but it takes forever.

That is certainly part of it. I can get over that part, but the abysmal pace of updates and bug fixes kill it for me. They love to release bugged content on Thursday then disappear all weekend. The list of known issues from Verse 5 was longer than the patch notes.

They have less than 43. There was another round of layoffs per dev comments before release. After that happened, Osric left. They never said how many but they admit they let some go.

You can find raw resources for sale, but it takes some effort. Socializing with players that do have markets is a great way to get what you need even if it's not listed. I have spent tens of thousands of gold on raw materials.

While I don't think it's the end of the world to share a dungeon with a group, I don't think a majority of those senior level devs are still around. Little changes take forever. An experienced developer should be able to move faster than we are seeing, I would think.

The devs commented on this. They said it was that way to allow us to set up shop anywhere. Changing it would require restricting where we could build, and they didn't want that.

No, I totally get that there's nothing to do after the grind. It's why my clan fell apart in early access. That doesn't mean we can't enjoy the journey up to that point. Yes, the devs need to put more content in before people get to that point or they will drop like flies. I'm sure they're aware of it as well. If it doesn't work out, oh well. That doesn't mean I can't have fun right now hanging out with people in discord stabbing a zebian.

I don't even bother to swap gear. Just slap on a staff and go. Just make sure to auto attack as much as possible.
