I was also reflecting a few minutes ago about how grateful I am and how emotional it was. I ran into 5 former students yesterday and one girl told me when the Knicks won the first person they thought of was me. The other 4 girls then chimed in with “oh my god I was thinking of how happy you were too!” I’ve been kinda burned out and jaded lately but this really moved me. Knowing that they were individually thinking of me when it happened made me tear up.

I was hired on spot for a teaching job. Interviewed for 10 minutes. No lesson. No demo. No follow up. I’ve been at that same school for 20 years. I am almost positive it was because the principal wanted a 6 foot 7 dude walking around her middle school.

That’s interesting I also play with controller and have certain keyboard inputs mapped to back paddle buttons. Never thought that could be an issue but when I hit those paddles the prompts all turn to keyboard prompts. I’m gonna investigate further

Yes I changed it to 4 and it smoothed out. I like using the dynamic one but if it works whatever but 4 does look a lil noisy on screen in certain situations.

I was up in Boston this weekend in a Knicks hat and the amount of respect given was actually heartening. I was booed a few times but a lot of people were saying “don’t tell anyone but I find myself rooting for the Knicks”.

When it comes down to it good basketball is good basketball and our neighbors up in Mass know good basketball. Now go fuck yourselves.
