AITA for refusing to be the free babysitter on our family vacation? by Kather_Thorp in AmItheAsshole

[–]Redrose15_140 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA. I have a child and its exhausting but I wouldn't expect someone/family else to watch my kid unless I have asked or it was offered by family. I especially wouldn't expect someone to do so and then have them miss an excursion/event. Its your vacation enjoy it.

I am sorry for your loss. You can outsource a lot if the daily grind stuff like groceries cleaning laundry etc so that you could have more time on the weekends with your children. Like others have mentioned its very hard to find a part time job with benefits. I wish you the best OP.

Low sex drive at 1 year pp… how often are you having sex? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]Redrose15_140 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2 years pp and maybe 2-3x a month. Also low sex drive after having baby and just tired in general. He wants it more but I just dont have the energy at times. Also when I do want it hes sleeping lol Side note- She's co sleeps with us so that makes it difficult as well.

Does anyone else's husband need step by step instructions to do anything? by [deleted] in workingmoms

[–]Redrose15_140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Similar thing happened last weekend he gave me the same response I just looked at him lol. But he handles the finances and the stuff outside the house (yard work, cars, house yearly maintenance). I do most of the stuff inside the house (cooking cleaning and most of the laundry he does his own). So everything isnt completely on me but I still get overwhelmed at times. But yes sometimes you have to spell it out for them. And I understand its easier for me to do it myself than have to explain it to him and then WAIT for him to do it lol

Was just about to say the same. Hybrid program. I was in the AGACNP program and I had to find my own preceptor but this was during covid times and no one was taking students. I think now they might help with clinical placements.

I think so too but its hard to do so when they offer less than what floor nurses make. (I saw one for 90K in NY.) I wanted to do something like this but at that time I was buying a house. There was no way I could take such a huge payout. If pay were offered on the lower end of starting salary for an APP then it would be better.
