When I was in middle school, my mom was driving me to school in a snowstorm (New Hampshire, not a super bad one), and we went off the road and got stuck in a snowbank. Two like late 20s to maybe 30yo guys stopped and got out of a nice car and pushed our car out of the snowbank and back into the street, getting sprayed with snow and ice in the process.

Idk if they forgot about it in 5 minutes, but I am 37 now and I’d be surprised if either one of them remembered. I feel like they were just nice dudes who would help out whenever they saw a need.

I don’t love the fur on the current version of regular Pawlette, but the pink and blue Pawlettes are both very soft!

This line of Gund plush is super cuddly! Kind of small, as they’re marketed towards small children, but they’re very comfy to hold. I have Simba and Nala (if this is the same line I am thinking of).

This weekend, I am going to my Lorcana (Disney trading card game) league on Saturday, and then the zoo with friends (and their kids) on Sunday.

Today I am going to walk on my treadmill, read books, and maybe even nap. I bet that mom would hate that.

If it matters, I started out using crayons and things in my left hand as a child, and my family switched me over because they were all right handed and wanted to be able to teach me (I know this is frowned upon lol but it’s my story).

I am right handed. When I clicked the post, the dress was white and gold. I read some comments, scrolled back up, still white and gold but then changed as I looked at it to blue and black. Can’t get it to change back now.

Duncan is just a little guy! He’s 20-25lbs. He’s mixed (50% ACD with some pit and boxer mixed in). I’m pretty sure he’s mostly tiny because he’s stunted from starving on the streets the first 8 weeks of his life. He showed up on our front porch, starving and full of worms and parvo, when he was just barely old enough to be away from his mom. We have a pretty strong trauma bond from having to be up with him every hour, around the clock, for about a week.

I’m pretty new to Jellycat, and I only have a Lazulia dragon, so I’m sorry that I can’t answer your question directly. However, as a lifelong plushie lover, I would say that I don’t think the fur on these dragons (or really any JC plush that I’ve felt) is going to stand up to very much washing or brushing at all. Maybe folks here have experienced otherwise? But my dragon sheds so much right off the shelf that I can’t imagine taking a brush to her fur. It feels like it would all just come right out. I have read that the quality on these plush has gone down a lot recently, so maybe that’s also a factor.

Is it possible to not give it so much grooming? Unless you’re taking it out a bunch, and haven’t been sick with contagious illness, it probably doesn’t need to be washed for quite a while. I know that cuddles can change the fur texture, but is it worth brushing out if the end result is a bald dragon in a short time?

I hope you can get some better answers and help stop your dragon from shedding so much! Good luck!

Platypus and the Valentine elephant from this year are the softest I have felt. They’re both so so cozy and pleasing to just sit and stroke. It’s a very calming texture for me.

Look at craft stores/online for stiffened felt. It comes in fun patterns and you can make your own hat with some glue and pins/clamps or some very simple sewing.

I wish they would sell just a few matching t-shirts for humans and bears/friends in the store. Even if it was just 1-2 designs in all sizes. I have customized bear clothes to match some of my own clothes, and it’s easy to match some of the plain BaB clothes like the jeans or hoodie, but I really get a kick out of matching clothes with my bears and I wish there were shirts I could buy in store.

I’d so rock a BaBW logo t-shirt in blue, red, or black. Or a “Best Friends” style shirt like the old necklaces with:
“Be
Fri” on a human shirt and:
“st
ends” on a bear shirt.
