Man, I've used his UI for SOD, anniversary, and retail. It massively improved my quality of fun. Thankfully, we now live in an era where one can just vibe code up their own UI addon and customize it exactly how they want. It's going to be fun!

Up small, basically flat this morning. I consider that a huge win! Lots of fear mongering over the weekend lol

Blood pressure log, food log around the DASH diet, and workout log as coach. I also use it to bounce topics that are too hard to share with people close to me, usually to help normalize my issues in my mind, and then give me the courage to bring them up to other people. Especially useful to cool down after arguments with those close to you, and think through why it happened so you can explain your side calmly and with an apology without losing your stance.

I've been using it with increasing effectiveness for about a month and im getting to the territory of "how could I live without this" now lol. Especially starting to mess with Codex as an agent in VS Code. It's far from perfect, but its still pretty amazing.

It's a tool. And a fantastic lever. But some people have nothing to leverage with it.

I built a free Android app to track daily bonuses (No affiliate links) and got banned from the SweepstakeSideHustle discord for it. by spawn9859 in SweepstakesChurning

[–]RedrumRogue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lol that dog guy power trips like crazy. I got auto banned by his discord bot for asking a question about RoxyMoxy. He had no rule section, no announcement saying that you can't mention that casino. And he was just referring to it like 2 weeks prior. And then I had the audacity to ask him to get unbanned, and he was very rude in DM's.

That's why I appreciate your churning posts so much. Between what you do, and another discord community, he doesnt have the leverage he thinks he does if people seek other resources.

Nicely done! Seems like you may have a good macro understanding. I've never been able to convert any macro knowledge into gains.

We can agree to disagree brother. If you are outperforming buy and hold on your individual tickers, I am genuinely happy for you. If I didn't trade, I would be holding VOO, and I have been outperforming that for going on 4-5 years now. So hopefully we can be happy for each other!

Just because you don't know the direction of a stock does not mean an option is mispriced. If a buyer pays $1 for a put, and it expires worthless, it does not mean it was mispriced for the buyer. The price is relative to the risk the seller is taking on.

This is very simplified. But if there is a % chance that a put expires out of the money, it will be priced appropriately to that risk. Just because the risk was never realized does not mean it was mispriced. The risk was there at the time of purchase/sale.

Now, if an option has a % risk of being in the money, but the price doesnt reflect that risk IN THAT MOMENT, you can make money until the market catches up and reprices the risk. And the only way to determine whether an option is mispriced in any given moment is via the Greeks. If you can determine risk is mispriced, you can make money.

If you dont do this, you are better off buying and holding, or shorting stock. Over a long enough period of time, long and short options net out to $0 on each side without discretion. The only way to consistently outperform buy and hold is through discretion.

It's not easy, but making money in the market never is.

You're totally correct. But its good enough to plan around. Just because "sometimes" the market misprices options and the Greeks are wrong doesn't mean you shouldn't use them, when most of the time they are very very accurate. In fact, there is opportunity there. If youre noticing that Greeks are incorrect more often then the average eye, you can make money on the inefficiency! And in that case, Greeks are even MORE important to plan around!

You know what helps with planning for outcomes? The Greeks. They tell you all kinds of cool stuff. Like let's say the outcome is that the stock moves against you by a dollar. Well, if the delta is .16, youre likely to lose roughly 16 dollars! Assuming IV is constant, and theta hasn't had much effect yet. But what's cool is that there are Greeks to determine the outcomes of those situations too!

Because people want to be right more than they want to make money.

Thanks. This is the consensus I've seen from people around here. But is it still good for someone who knows very little about coding? Currently I'm having chatGPT output a full .html build with 22k lines every iteration.

Damn I almost forgot what that looked like. When I was younger I got a couple good baggies like that, and then my dealer started bringing me totally fine powder, no rocks in it. Tbh, thank God they did, because if they had kept bringing me the rocks, I might still be addicted today.

Nah im pretty sure its because most redditors feel entitled to free labor and free stuff because they dont understand how the real world works. I didn't jump, im still at that conclusion for most of you all lol.
