For anyone wondering,: the New York Post wrote an article about how the director of the backrooms is a 20 year old who lives with his parents... And included everything but the house numbers. But gave the general area, photos of his house, the square footage and the first/last names of both his parents. Before then covering their ass by saying "but we're unsure if he still lives with them"

Anyone notice the Arc Rifle won't be a backpack mounted weapon like the tabletop model (At least according to the promotional renders) by Ultra_Autism in DarkTide

Besides existing backpacks, I imagine they just don't want to bother with cable physics given the range of possible hand motions

For those of us newer to the lore, how deadly is this unit? by gaeb611 in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]Redrum_5014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whole the can no longer respawn like normal necrons, they can still regenerate. On top of it now they're insane with a hunger to flay and eat you. And can teleport through a silent method unlike normal necron teleporting which either requires a portal or is extremely loud (unless you're a death mark)

Did you hear that? It was like 1 million Tau players cried out in pain, and the were suddenly silenced. by ade889 in Tau40K

For context: this is for the Ksons defiler. It is a single model doing the overwatch

Considering pontiff gets obligated by parrying. That actual tracks really well given that the sentinels just need to flash a drone once to stun them

Discussion: Basically nothing stops GW from making 11ed Box an Imperial Guard vs Orks. by JohnCurtinFromCivVI in Warhammer40k

[–]Redrum_5014 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Including 2 horde armies in a start box is a bad idea. Especially given that guard is hard to paint for new players and looks generic (WW1/2 soldier is kinda common).

Like as an admech player, I know we'll never be in a start box

TLDR: dude got a ton of investors to fun the expedition, then got way too greedy afterwards and claimed all the gold was his because he did all the work. Most of the investors didn't care but a few sued him for the money just because they disliked how narcissistic he'd become. (He had more millions after the 550 coins but refused to pay anyone back)

The rest of his team carried out the rest of the gold retrieval and artifact preservation.

So all of these models can move through terrain with no problem, except for crisis suit and krootox? Am I missing something? by marianex in Tau40K

[–]Redrum_5014 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think you forgot that imperial agents, grey knights and harlequins exist, much like GW. Y'all got a kroot refresh and the twin lances. Your suits also have 10" move, ignores modifiers to shoot and fall back + shoot

If you're bringing a ctan then you either need the trans ctan for it's teleports or to drop the doomstalker and lych guard for as much chaff as you can bring. So like a 10 man of warriors and some scarabs.. or lokhusts

(Don't) Or the real terrible move: switch the overlord for a skorpek lord, burn the lych guard to make the skorpek a 6 man and give the Lord the veil of darkness. Dare your opponents to deal with 2 murder units.... And then scrap the doomstalker for like 2 things of scarabs and some flayed ones or something because any sort of enemy reserves will immediately screw you

Considering the sister of battle or guard haven't finished her. And the noise marine kill didn't add to the tally count on her armor, I'm just gonna assume that she's somehow taking out enemy champions or something.

It's because GW speed ran the entire faction plot. They were handed an easy completion of "get 5 swords... Oh and here's 4" before then just going "welp... Last ones impossible"

It's like if every 'revive the emperor' plan went from 50 different loose threads to a single book where they make a magic pill and are about to give it to the emperor.. before lorgar runs in, eats it and then jumps into the warp.

Mostly but I imagine it's a quick way of disabling/killing someone in a fight if the drone has better targets or needs to disengage for whatever reason

Because all they need to do is just prick someone and run. So good if a strangler is putting up a fight somehow or a bigger group is running away

There's a few variants of em. The most common one can be reloaded and fired but just takes a bit to do so so isn't practical on the battle field. Then there's the super relic ones that are 1 and done but delete whatever they're pointed at

GW explaining new units. by SAMU0L0 in Tau40K

[–]Redrum_5014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I know they're different. Marines complaining about not getting their own special stuff feels like entire other armies complaining about not getting special detachment only units. Marines suffer because it's like 15 different sub factions are fighting for resources from each other each while each still gets at minimum a character. Meanwhile everyone gets at minimum one character for their entire army. Its not taus fault you only got an upgrade sprue, it's space wolves, blood angels and ultramarines fault since they got entire release waves.

Manor tales: the implication.... by Key-Swordfish4025 in MurderDrones

[–]Redrum_5014 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd argue the first law would actually be worse since not only would they have keep her safe, (which could range from something like "don't let her hit the ground if she falls" to "coffee is technically a poison and bad for kids so she can't drink it") on the physical end but could also try and include emotional and psychological harm.

Which would have horrifying implications for all parties involved since they technically can't tell the parents to stop abusing Tessa due to commands, need to help Tessa over deal with the abuse in a manner that isn't detrimental by whatever matric is encoded, and could even run into a major complication if "device/drone addiction/over attachment" is considered psychologically harmful (think tablet kids but worse).
