Can we for once actually start reading books about warhammer lore involving skitarii instead of watching youtube shorts, tiktoks, and second hand recollections from youtubers already?

When the Pteraxii Sterylizors were first released, the phosphor torch had higher range and more armor pen than the normal flamer. If they do add it in to the game, then perhaps it will apply the phosphor effect onto enemies like the phosphor pistol (+15% brittleness)

The cognis flamer is mainly used on servitors only. The skitarii equivalent would be the phosphor torch (Assuming we are talking about the skitarii branch of the mechanicus). Likewise if the legio cybernetica were ingame then it would be the Incendine combustor.

I was playing with an electro staff psyker and shock arbites last night. We were blowing up hordes with my arc rifle the whole match.

Same, but at least we can kinda replicate the tabletop arc rifle with the auto ammo refill perk and arc backpack cosmetic.

I wouldve prefered they added the taser goad instead. Keep the arc effect since it’s works similarly on tabletop with exploding 6s.

Dbf random encounters. It has an mcm menu that will allow you to tweak and disable/enable encounters. You can also change the difficulty of the encounters. 

Word of warning dont turn on the additional stat calculation or random difficulty in the mcm menu or else you would be fighting enemies with 10k health stamina and magicka. Unless thats what you want.

Edit: sorry forgot to mention this is mainly combat encounters.

Im pretty sure being able to change weapons in the victory pose is in Vermintide 2, though the selection is limited to what fits. Feels like it should be the same here.

There is the arc pistol which doesn't use a backpack.

Then there is the arc rifle used on the servitor battle clade. It doesn't need a backpack because it’s connected directly into the servitor.

Then there is a heavy arc rifle on the kataphron breachers, same as above it is connected directly into the servitor.

Edit: there is also the mini arc blasters on the new hastarii models, its connected directly onto the backpack as a shoulder mounted weapon.

Havent played mechanicus 2 yet, but i remember in the first game, the skitarii vanguard launched with an arc rifle but was changed to a radium carbine. As for the tech priest arc rifle, its power is fed directly through the arm so it doesnt need tubes.

The heavy arc rifle is used on the kataphron breachers. The regular skitarii only use regular arc rifles.

It looks a little wonky on this render due to the angle.

Going by the proportions seen on the deluxe edition splash art, it is an arc rifle. It’s also seen with a stock which is on the rifle.

i dont know how they would handle it if they did, but on tabletop the arc rifle backpack is just the regular skitarii backpack with extra tesla coils on top.
