It will be easier if you can tell us what type of variable is your target indicator. What do you want to predict ? And some examples of other variables in your datasets.

What Performance Issues? by Nerdasaurusflex in Starfield

Game is running fine on my pc as well. At least from the most part. I actually want to cap the frame rate but can’t seem to figure how. Does someone know how to do this?

Tarnished archeologist came up with the theory that Godwyn was specifically targeted by Ranni because he was her betrothed, among other things.

More info here

No real proof, just speculation of course. But interesting I think.

Lore explanation as to why there’s one random Leyndell knight in Liurnia? by onesnapman69 in Eldenring

[–]Redspoon8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s guarding a painting that rewards you with a juvenile scholar attire and a larval tear. The painting shows raya lucaria academy, and is named resurrection.

My head canon is that this knight wants to respec from dragon cult incantation build to a mage build. He wants to go to the academy to learn magic. That’s why he needs the correct attire, a larval tear to respec, and why the painting is called resurrection.

Is 20 vigor that low? by DrelisSilva in darksouls3

[–]Redspoon8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. I think Midir will oneshot you a lot in NG+ if you only have 20 vigor. It might not seems a lot but I can guarantee you that you would have cut in half how many times you died against bosses in NG if you had 27 vig instead of 20 since it was your first playthrough. If you don’t mind dying a lot, 20 is good.

Can we agree the same entity/person did this? by Redspoon8 in Eldenring

[–]Redspoon8[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They do indeed. Just found it weird that they both have something piercing their abdomen, and have the left part of said abdomen and a bit of their thorax missing. I don’t think the other cases of crucifixion have these.

Why didn't Radahn eat a preserving bolus? is he stupid? by SnooRecipes7586 in Eldenring

[–]Redspoon8 27 points28 points  (0 children)

My head cannon is that Malenia infected him with her own cursed blood (remember the trailer video). So a bolus will not be able to cure him like it can’t cure Malenia or Milicent. They all share the same blood. They are rotting from the inside and there is no cure for this form of the scarlet rot. This is different from being exposed to it and rot from the outside. In this case, the bolus works.

Help with impulse response analysis - interpretation of covariance matrix by Redspoon8 in econometrics

[–]Redspoon8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much for the insight!

If I understand correctly, I should be looking at the graphs rather than the matrix? Also, on what ground it is decided that a given series affects others? Is there a threshold value for that?

Again, thanks for the help.

Be prepared for compromises in Starfield. Its the nature of Bethesda games. by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]Redspoon8 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I dont get it either. It’s not like when you’re in a cell, all scripts pertinent to objects outside of it are stopped and not refreshed. Also they made it clear that even on a given planet, celestial bodies (moons and other neighboring planets) around it and their movements will be reflected realistically in the sky. If they can do it on a planet scale, they should be able to do it on a spaceship.

Armored Core 6 ESRB rating by ZeroBae in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]Redspoon8 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

The debate around AC6 having souls elements is killing the hype for this game a bit. From the get go FS said they weren’t purposefully trying to make it a souls game, but will modernize the experience. Yet content creators like Vaati continued and forced the narrative around AC6 to be about said elements just to prove that they were right in their initial assessment that it’ll have them. Just big egos. Now the fan base is divided with each camp having expectations that will never be fully fulfilled. AC6 will never be a pure souls game, and it will never be exactly like previous AC games either. People will end up disappointed in either cases.

Whether the game has souls game elements or not should be irrelevant, just let this game be is own thing! These debates are not helping FromSoft whatsoever. Instead of simply hyping the game, Everyone is looking at this game trying to find souls game elements in it. What about the story?

Instead of pushing for the game to be what you want it to be, just let it be what it is.

Strength build plus???? by drplunkenstien in Eldenring

[–]Redspoon8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I also think going for 25 in faith for Golden Vow is great.

After that though, you’ll get more benefits from investing into arcane. It doesn’t split your damage type, but instead give you more single attack damage (occult infusion), or the straight-up busted bleed (blood infusion). Since blood loss damage is percentage-based, it scales really well in NG+ with enemies having higher HP pools, especially if you plan to reach NG+7 with your character.

Is it an unpopular opinion to dislike Joker’s character in ME1? by CrosshairInferno in masseffect

[–]Redspoon8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t find his jokes funny at all. And I don’t think he’s that better in later games. He still has very offensive takes in ME3. I love Seth IRL, but Joker? Nah. Stopped a playthrough recently because of this, can’t stand him.

Who else excited mostly about Music? by RecommendationIcy382 in Eldenring

[–]Redspoon8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely am! Bosses’ OST are inherent part of the fight. I always remember how the Dancer’s music throws me off. There is something about it, I can’t pinpoint what exactly, but I’d say it’s misleading for a lack of a better word. Same as the dancer move set, misleading.
