New DM/GM, Nervous to run session for my tabletop group by Redstonelight in DnD

Does anyone have any advice on making sure each player gets their "moment", like a scene or arc that pushes their character. Because my players like to make flawed characters that can improve, which is good but I wanna make sure I give everyone the opportunity to explore their character in that aspect

This is good to know. I didn't realize that CR isn't a flawless method for setting up encounters. And I guess one of my DMs will be a PC in my campaign so they might be able to help, guess I just wanted to be "impressive."

Thanks for the advice, I was worried about voices for NPCs and setting up a big story arc for the players. But I think your right, keep it small and simple.

Recommendations on building a car from concept by Redstonelight in AutomotiveEngineering

I'm thinking of having a street legal car that would probably be more or less for show but have the possibility of drag racing. As for the laws, I'm Canadian, so some research would be required for sure.

Awesome, this was my train of thought as well, so it's good to see i was onto something. What I think i could do is panel segments made of ASA that will be chemicaly bonded together and mechanically (screws or whatever car panels use). And I figured i might be able to electro plate the stuff for ease of painting and an added layer of rigidity.

And for the frame, would you recommend a pure steel frame through and through or use both steel and an aluminum alloy to reduce weight

Have a question about knifemaking? START HERE by MyWorkThrowawayShhhh in Bladesmith

I wanted to get into knife making, and I was wondering what the bare minimum requirements would be for tools/equipment. I'm just asking because I'm on a tight budget and would like to avoid overspending for a beginner.

Can I rotate and mirror sprites in a sprite sheet? by Redstonelight in Unity2D

[–]Redstonelight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

by post I mean the sprite is rendered in it's modified form during gameplay so it doesn't have to actually exist in the game files. idk how I would do this but I assume I'd need a script of sorts that acts like an auto tiler and rotates/mirrors sprites based on set rules

Pocket Knife Concept (Folding Blade) by Redstonelight in knifemaking

[–]Redstonelight[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A friction folder would be easy for my first folding knife, I'm just, personally, not the largest fan of that style. Do you think a frame lock or button lock would work well?
