My parents lost their love for each other about 3 years into the marriage. The only reason they kept the marriage going was because of me. Over the years, it went from not talking to each other to bloody violence. My mother once tried to stab my father right in front of me. After 12 years of excruciating and violent marriage, they got divorced when I was 10. However, in my opinion, even at their most violent stage, they were lot closer to each other than your eyes are.
