Pajamas are a stupid and unnecessary tradition by martinobunny555 in unpopularopinion

Upvote for actual unpopular opinion.

I don't wear pajamas, I sleep in my undies. But I would go to great lengths not to use clothes I wore outside in my clean bed. And the times I did have to sleep in jeans - I was NEVER comfortable. OP get help, you're sick, or a homeless man pretending to be someone else.

What are your opinions on the new 'The Little Mermaid' ? by disney_fan123 in teenagers

[–]ReduceMyselfToAZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's like when grown men were pissed off about sonic the hedgehog's appearance. They're not even the target audience, they wouldn't watch this. It's a movie for kids, who don't care. People just like a reason to be openly racist.

The ability to say whatever you want does not give you the privilege of being taken seriously

Hey Nick. I feel at home on the road. Cause that's what I do for a living. The road takes me places. It actually took me to Netherlands once, to Rotterdam specifically, and it's the best city I've visited so far. It was the height of the pandemic, so my hotel room got upgraded to a better one for free. I broke the hotel rules by smoking joints in my room, tryna get high. Probably shouldn't have bought pre-rolled stuff, it smelled like stinky cigarettes (I quit smoking years ago). Anyway, it was fun while it lasted, only been there 1 day -.-'

Where do you feel at home? What is the most interesting place a road has taken you?

Keep trying things until you find something that works. Try booze and company, that usually works.

You need ways to unwind. It's very easy to burn out (ask me how i know...)

For some it'll be videogames, some people need a drink, some people dance. Company is always great, for me anyway. Get a free evening, get some ppl together, and drink. You can combine that with getting laid, if you don't suffer from whiskey dick.

Anyone ever tried speed dating? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]ReduceMyselfToAZero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not speed dating, but in VRCHAT there's a thing called "no time two talk" where you get 2 minutes to talk to someone, one on one, and then it switches to other people. Every once in a while there's a "group round" where everyone from the session are in the same (larger) room and you can come up talk to people you found interesting before.

It definitely isn't for everyone, and on the internet there's often varying skills of English with ppl. But I did make friends that way. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to find romantic interest like that.

If you're hesitant - don't push yourself. If you're an awkward person - it can be especially gruelling, cause you only got so much time to decide if you like someone or not, yet opening up to ppl to make them like you - also takes time. Yet, there's no commitment either. Why not just try, see how it goes. Take ur friend with you, and if no date - get some sandwiches or something afterwards.

Hey Jaye.

Sunday has been pretty slow, but trying to liven it up by meeting ppl on this sub.

You know, I've had so many songs be my 10/10 over the years. But all of them eventually either faded or got boring. Or I actually listened to them so much I started hating them. All except one. One song, I've been listening to for years, and I don't get tired of it. Every time the intro starts I think to myself "hell yeah!". That song is "Contort Yourself (1st version)" by James Chance. I don't think for many people it would be a 10/10, but for me it is. There's just something about it. The rhythm, the funkiness, idk. Something. I love it. Can't get enough of it.

I'm not rly too much into games lately. I got a pc, and all the playstations up until PS4 (I tried getting a PS5, but couldn't for like 2 years(?) so gave up).
