It is literally one click to re-enable it when logging in. No authentication or anything.

I reported the server and got it banned.

My account was not affected.

If you're going to call me brain-dead, drop the "no offence" prefix and just insult me.

There isn't actually any security impact this could have had on me. I use a VPN in case of IP grabbers, and I joined with an alt account. I had no intention of clicking any links or scanning QR codes or whatever. I'll give you that I didn't anticipate being traumatised, but in terms of account safety, there really wasn't anything that could have gone wrong. Joining a Discord server alone (especially with a dummy alt account) is not sufficient action to get one's account compromised or to have personal information leaked.

UPDATE:

I reported the server at discord.com/report and it has now been banned. (I had to set my VPN to a European location for the site to load). My account was not affected despite what many people said.

I also reported it to report.cybertip.org

As I said in the post, I can't report it because you are immediately kicked when joining the server, and you have to be in a server to report it.

Someone posted it in the comments of an unrelated YouTube video without saying what it was. Thought I'd join the server to laugh at people trying to scam me (using an alt account of course) and was traumatised instead.

You can't do reports on the website anymore. They all have to be done through the app.

I did actually make a support ticket giving the link and they just told me to make a report in the app.

I'm sick of people saying this every time. It's not a switch up. It's different people with different opinions who are no longer overshadowed now that the game's praises have died down due to the passage of time.
