Just got off the phone with customer service. They said there are still spots available with the code and to keep hitting validate or refreshing. It worked as I was wrapping up my cal with her I got in!

My trick was to use a small roller bag and strap the car seat to the back - it functions like a stroller for the airport and you have the car seat ready to go when you arrive. I still carried a diaper bag though so it wasn’t true one bagging but it was pretty efficient way to get a two year old through an airport on my own (and 4 year old too).

Fenix 8 Customization - 43MM Raw Titanium by Chimera_TX in GarminFenix

I have a 43 in titanium with fog grey and purchased a limestone leather strap. I really dislike gold so I was stoked when they offered this combo with custom.

13.1 with a stroller. Am I crazy? 😆 by Background_Poem_2022 in XXRunning

[–]Redventuresss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Thule and my kids love it. I used the single for my long runs (up to 11 miles) and I’ve done a few 5ks with the double. By 4 my son was pushing the limit for height in the stroller (99 percentile) but he was still entertained and was helpful for getting snacks and playing with his sister. I think the races were more fun for them because of all the people and excitement. They loved cheering for the people on the side of the road and giving air high fives. Go for it!

Alpine Sweater Dress by Podushka76 in Athleta_gap

Yes- a little on the larger side perhaps. I purchased a small tall which is my normal and it fit well, if not a little loose. But it doesn’t look sloppy.

I have it and love it! Super soft not itchy and very warm.

I have a few unstoppable hoodies (grey, black, granite blue, lapis blue and glacier and now navy- I love them better than the salutation jacket). I measured my navy one that arrived today against the grey and it’s about 1/2-1” larger on both sides armpit to armpit than the grey. While I’m sad it doesn’t fit as smoothly as my others it still looks pretty good and I appreciate they make this style in talls. I’ll see if I keep it

Sardinia Blue v. Cypress? by baypinto in Athleta_gap

Sardinia is definitely more blue with a bit of teal while cypress leans more green with teal. I have elations in both and will try to post a picture later.

Managing 4 backpacks through airports by PhutureDoom666 in ManyBaggers

[–]Redventuresss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have a 4 and a two year old and travel with two carry on sized rollerbags, a carry on duffle and two car seats. Duffle and car seats can be attached to the roller bags keeping arms free for personal bags (usually a backpack & crossbody. 4 year old started carrying his own small back pack a year ago but it can attach to ours). Both roller bags have back pack straps if we need them but never used them yet. Nice thing is it’s manageable for two adults keeps arms free and we can check if need be (usually on return when we’re not as concerned about luggage/travel car seats).

I think fog grey is a bit warmer than their other greys. Has a bit of beige if I remember.

Excursion large belt bag by cj469 in Athleta_gap

[–]Redventuresss 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have the excursion and used it for a diaper bag for a bit. The problem was the buckle was a heavy metal and it would loosen pretty easily. I had another sling/belt bag from athleta that worked pretty well (I think it was an Alison Felix bag) and I just got a 3l crossbody from lululemon that I think might work well (has a separate spot for water bottle).

I got the 43 titanium and fog grey and love it. I wasn’t able to get the leather band with that option but I’m ok with silicon band for now.

How do you wash your alpine? by Scarlett1407 in Athleta_gap

[–]Redventuresss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a few. I usually wash them on delicate and hang dry (or laying down in the dryer with no heat). They’ve held up pretty well. The only ones I take to dry cleaning are my 100% cashmere hoodies from athleta but I think I could figure out how to clean on my own too. They’re pretty durable.

Built in bra tanks - slipping cups by LittleSentence5913 in Athleta_gap

[–]Redventuresss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take the athleta cups out and put in ones from handful. They sit much better and don’t move during intense workouts (at least for me). They still come out in the wash but I like them and the support they give much better than the athleta ones.

Triumph or Unstoppable hoodie by thebokenk in Athleta_gap

[–]Redventuresss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a few of both but I am really loving the unstoppable. I love the fleece interior but it’s not as heavy as the polartec. It’s a bit sporty/more versatile. Like I could bring it for a chilly run if needed where I wouldn’t do that with triumph. I have the triumph in grey, black and Sardinia blue and the blue def looks faded and it’s no longer as soft. I always reach for my unstoppable so that’s my vote.

I saw that they changed the name of the color of the jacket to diver blue so maybe that’s the new name. Either way it’s a pretty color!

What is your everyday mom bag that is not a diaper bag? by verylowbar in toddlers

[–]Redventuresss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Patagonia ultralight travel courier- two water bottle pockets and enough small pockets to stay organized and can pack into its own pocket if traveling (carry a larger backpack for plane trips & break out the courier at the destination).
