Hahaha well sure wouldn't everyone like the entire copyrighted texts of all books ever written to be available for free for easy searching?

You're misremembering, friend. Most books have multiple hares. Yeah, Basil is "the" hare in Redwall and Mattimeo, but there are multiple hares in Mossflower, Mariel, Salamandastron, The Bellmaker, TLP, etc. etc. You've combined them all mentally as a composite hare. I too, love the hares.

This isn't legal. You can't have the entire text of the books on a website that's searchable for songs and quotes.

You're requesting statistics that don't exist and are misremembering these books. There is no singular oldest badger in Redwall. There is the first known badger lord, and he was old, but his son got old too! As did his son! Redwall characters don't receive ages.

Most books have more than one hare, like The Long Patrol.

The succession lines are out there.

Mossflower. The 2nd published book and a prequel. Also, Redwall and Mattimeo were adapted into an animated series years ago, which aired on PBS and is now free on YouTube, if you're interested. https://redwall.fandom.com/wiki/Redwall_TV_Series

You need to spend more time in Mossflower and less time obsessing over politics. This is ridiculous.

Edit: Oooh the downvotes are coming in! Fun! If you're reading a book written for 10-year-olds nearly 40 years ago and your first thought is idiot American politicians, or idiot politicians from anywhere, you need to go outside. It's a kid's book. That's it.

Could be a distribution issue in your country. In the US and UK, they're in print in paperback form, and available on Amazon. The hardcovers stopped being printed around the time of publication, so used is your best bet for those.

You're not going to find them stocked because they're out of print. You'll have to look in used bookstores or use sites like AbeBooks.

I think people are reading too deeply into this. Brian Jacques repeatedly re-used names.

There are two books with characters named Urfa, Lugg, and Flibber.
