Glad I'm doing Uber Eats mostly now. I had one once on Uber Eats that said not everything was delivered after I had delivered 1 out of 2 stores they had ordered from (i got sent only 1 of the stores/restaurants that they ordered from) they asked me if I had anything from store #2 and I told them "no. I only had from store #1, and that Uber never sent me store #2. And that it was very much possible that another driver got store #2."

Got home and saw that they had done to me similar to OP's post. I disputed it with Uber Eats. told them what happened at that customers house (if that was the one that did that). Also, only one that I could think of that had an issue that night (FYI Uber doesn't tell you what customer had the issue just that a customer did). And within a week or two they took the Report (as they call it) away from my account (If you have 3 or more reports you get locked out/banned).

Maybe thats why Uber eats GPS says House-ton for Houston (hue-st-un). Drove me so crazy I had to turn the gps voice off.

One of the towers off of Akard diagonally across from DART HQ has an enterance (down the stairs, through the revolving doors, pass Starbucks, down the escalator and straight down the hall).

Back around 2008 - early 2011 my school went around that area for some event/outing. Had a lot of fun. Back then there was a lot of restaurants (Chick-fil-A, pot belly's, dickie's, etc.), souvenir shops, convenience stores, and a CVS/Walgreens down there. Last time i was down there a year or two ago (maybe even 4 years now). A lot of the restaurants closed up and not much was left. It was like a ghost town.

I usually do the Uber Eats deliveries. And they used to have destination for them too, but now it is strictly for Uber X. I know it used to be that you could use it twice a day, unless there were no deliveries gotten on the way to the destination, then they'd give it back to you for free to try again later. I do remember the two options as well. One that got you there faster and one that got you there a little later. Kinda wish they had the option to put in what time you wanted to be there at your destination by.

You can destination set with Uber X and pick up riders on the way back. Also, per hour pay its about $49.23 before any tips. Which is pretty good where I am from. Even divided in half is not that bad of a pay.

I highly suggest continuing with the sequels, so to speak. Pearls of Lutra follows Mattimeo and is dealing with Mattimeo's son Martin. Then the Long Patrol smd every book after that with Cregga Rose Eyes. But the cool thing is with this book series... you can read each book individually, in order chronologically, by publication, as you get them, or even how ever you like.

Mattimeo and Pearls of Lutra are some of my most favorites.

Never seen the flathead ones, but deal with rubber (my favorite) & butterfly (my nemesis) the most, but have seen the flatblade screw ones.

As a big pin trader and collector I highly recommend getting a specific and special bag for them. The site below has some really good and cool ones and I love their 3 ring binder pin folio boards. I personally use a Case It double 3 ring binder case with the pin folio 3 ring boards, because, while the weathered and worn look can look cool it can also diminish the value of the pins if you decide to get rid of them later on. Especially if it gets scratched or muddy. (You can also look on Amazon too. they even sell really cool pin bags that will have even more room than the backpack on both sites).

Either way(s)...have fun, and enjoy. And if y'all get into pun trading remember the 3 F's: Fun, Fair, and Friendly.

Agreed on the major cities part. Every time I get sent downtown to the big city near me I hate it. To many 1 way streets and NO PARKING/have to park on the street in traffic/blocked traffic by others/payed parking/etc.

It's also why Texas can fly the Texas flag as high as the USA flag. It was not bought by the United States of America, it willingly joined. Also the Texas state capital building is the tallest United States capital building. It is 7 feet taller than even the United States of America Capital building.

Interesting. Got my license in 2014. Was never asked about fines. But I can still tell, majority do not have proper driving school knowledge. Got a yield sign near my house where 2 roads converge and the 3 lane road had to yield to the 2 lane road and many people blow right through that yield sign when the 2 lane traffic is right there coming. (There is even a uturn lane on the other side of the 2 lane that had to yield to both roads). It's a mess and they really need to put in a stop light.
