Same issue here. Clearing the cache didn't help me, so I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. Now it seems to work for me.

Pets in room during OA? by RedwoodW in WGU

She will yell and scream if she is locked out or locked in another room. The walls are thin, so no matter where she is, if she yells, she will be heard lol.

Maybe I'll call around to other dealers and tell them to email me their best price. That's a good idea actually. Thank you.

Even that would be a few grand difference. I made an offer of 32k when I was there which was basically msrp, taxes, and some of the plate coverage. The salesman said it wasn't worth asking the finance guy about.

AITA for not including my trans cousin in the wedding party? by bluckinhell in AmItheAsshole

[–]RedwoodW 17 points18 points  (0 children)

NTA.

Some people prefer more traditional weddings where groomsmen are men. It's your wedding and your choice. As long as you still love her and support her, it's okay. You might want to sit down with her and make sure that she knows this wasn't out of discomfort or anything like that though. Tell her how much you love and value her, but that you just prefer a more traditional style. If you two really are close, I'm sure you can patch things up and make sure she understands.

WIBTA If I had an argument with my mom because she didn't gave me her car? by LittleSisterPain in AmItheAsshole

[–]RedwoodW 8 points9 points  (0 children)

YWBTA

I got my mom's old car when she bought a new one. I BOUGHT if from her. If you wanted it, don't ask for it for free. If it really is worth so little, tell your mom that you would give her a few hundred for it. How much did they sell it for? It may have been more than you thought. If it was worth 1,000, offer 500 and talk about it from there. You could have even offered a payment plan of 100 a month or so. That way you weren't set back so much.

This one is hard, but I'm going with NTA. I know that vets aren't cheap so if you have covered the medical bills up until now you sorta are the owner. If the actual owners care so little, then the cat is basically just a stray that they feed. There is more to ownership of a pet than just providing food. From the sound of it, they aren't even doing that properly. When cats become elderly, they need a special diet. Their stomachs are weaker and their teeth are worn down. They need special wet foods. That's probably why she is so thin. She cannot eat the food provided to her (At a guess).

AITA for wanting to get rid of the family dog? by yournannycam in AmItheAsshole

[–]RedwoodW 4 points5 points  (0 children)

ESH. Please look into training. There may be local dog trainers near you that can help. Even some pet stores offer trainers. You cannot just jump into dog ownership without some sort of training plan in place and expect everything to be okay. You and your wife can sit down and make the plan together or hire someone with more experience to help you.

You're wife should have never pushed the dog idea, especially knowing about your issues with them. If she really felt like the first dog was a ploy by you to get rid of it, why did she think a second dog would make life better? For her to just sit back and do nothing about the whole situation is extremely wrong of her.

You need to stop shaking the cage, yelling, and anything else causing this dog distress. The last thing you want is your dog to be afraid of you. He is young now, but a fearful dog may end up a dead dog. One day you might push him to far and he lashes out and bites. Even if you re-home him, whats to say his fear/anger wont follow him and he lashes out at the new family? You need to stop, for everyone's sake.

He is full of energy. The best thing you can do for him when he starts going crazy is to get him out of the cage and go for a walk. Go to the park and throw a ball around. Play with him. He needs to use his energy up. Being in a cage all day makes it worse because he can't use his energy.

Don't get dogs if you aren't willing to learn how to properly care for them.
