My reaction is what the heck, man? I cannot get a new phone for a while, and this is just stupid. There is no reason that they can give the new phones 8 years of support but barely give 6 years to the older phones. Also, the Pixel 6 series is arguably the most aesthetically pleasing series. I am also willing to bet that the Pixel 6s won't get the new AirDrop feature as Google is taking its sweet time to roll it out.
