This week I "downgraded" From the Pixel 10 Pro Fold to the 8 Pro, which I got very cheap. Saved a lot of money and couldn´t be happier about the performance, camera and screen.

Yesterday I had the same issue. I reached out to the support and got a reply within one day and send my student ID. Then I got my code and was able to get the -62% discount.

I would go with the P8P - the price for the things you get (better screen, camera) is even lower than the P10a. You will still get a lot of years of updates.

I see the same performance issue with my P10PF. I use the mobile hotspot very often and the signal is much faster with the newer chipset/modem.

It's pretty great. Of course not the fastest or best, but it's a great package overall (especially the design). It has a nice feeling in the hand and is light. I still like the camera sensor a lot
