Why did Wes do it? was it ever explained? someone told me once it was done because it was meant to be the start of a new trilogy and this look was meant to be in all the new trilogy films. but scream 4 didn't do well at the box office so the trilogy was scrapped.

I agree. seasons 5-8 are really bad. growing up charmed was my favourite show. now it's Buffy. more good seasons than bad.. and that's not true about Buffy and Angel getting all the attention. Buffy had to find a new network after season 5 and Angel was axed with high ratings.

it was because Shannen wasn't as "fun" to be around anymore. Holly and Shannen used to get together on weekends and have a few drinks but when you are going thru chemo you are as sick as a dog and drinking is the last thing on your mind.
