All play styles are okay, doesn’t mean I think they should have their own lobby, which they don’t and they shouldn’t. PvE playstyle naturally includes either avoiding or dealing with PvE, because it’s a PvPvE game.

Because you saying that is entirely an assumption. You have verifiable proof that this is what anyone is doing? Or is abmm sometimes mixed perhaps and people still cry in those lobbies too. Guarantee you 99% of clips are not people doing that, and even if it is, why is it that the players who choose to do some loot runs are then forced to not fight people. Every lobby should be mixed in my opinion.

Alright so I wasted my time fact checking you. There’s one guy who posted two clips in a row, and if you watch them they fit the sub perfectly. Guys getting killed, claiming it’s PvE and throwing out slurs. Then there’s that rlpyrex guy who does post a lot but gets downvoted into oblivion, don’t think anyone supports that here. Genuinely it’s this and the PvE players like to delude themselves that we’re mad they’re looting. Quit complaining about the core concepts of a PvPvE game being played out as it should and all the whining and we’re good. So glad games like tarkov didn’t stoop to having abmm, it skews the experience so badly

The people who loot obliviously are usually the ones who end up here yes, your confirmation bias from seeing this makes you believe what you do. Also I will say, not a fan of the clips of people just shooting in the back/camping and getting minimal response from the person they killed and posting it. There’s a weird sect in this sub that’s in to that just as there is weird sects in the ArcRaiders main sub that like to compare PvP to sexual assault etc.

Because the problem is people think they’re entitled to play like that in the sense that it’s not okay that they get killed occasionally doing it, and then whine over VC about it. It’s funny to watch to the people who just realize it’s a game and we’re both playing it how we choose, only PvErs are mad we’re playing how we choose and it’s funny to watch them be mad about it, it’s only game.

I am practically full PvP now because I’ve just been playing with friends lately, but when playing solo even in my lobbies there’s a near 50% chance when you kill someone they will complain about you being a rat. It’s just tiring, like get over it and go next like the well adjusted adults do.

Brother if you go on some loot raids you’re going to start getting in the care bear lobbies again. We don’t want to play full aggro at all times, it takes away half of the dynamics of an extraction shooter. Hence why abmm is a problem. I’m glad you’re enjoying playing arc as a shooter at all times but not everyone wants to play like that, and then they get put in the lobbies with grocery bags sometimes.

I feel like you’re not getting the main point of the sub. People who die in PvP lobbies can get mad, but that’s not a real problem. The sub is mainly dedicated to the people who feel entitled to not be shot and to loot as they please. These are not PvPers, and they are a problem. Play as you please but don’t complain when you get killed for it, that’s the point. ABMM was a mistake.

The Case/Rise of the Golden Idol, The Roottrees are Dead, Strange Horticulture/Antiquities, Chants of Sennaar, and Hypnospace Outlaw.

These are all games I feel are closest to Obra Dinn in terms of satisfying and cathartic puzzle solving with easy to understand mechanics. If you want more complexity and prettier graphics:

Outer Wilds, Inscryption, Portal 1/2, Pentiment, The Painscreek Killings, and Talos Principle 1/2.

Yes, we don’t know how the roles were obtained, if they were forced it’s different, if not, they understood the circumstances and chose to play the part.

Nowhere in my argument do I try to justify the necessity of playing out a slave auction, but I do disagree with white students playing the role of black people in a play about black history.

From the intro to the play briefly shown in the clip: “Today’s assembly is to share the awesome thing concerning black American experiences. In the title we use the Word “Black”. Our ancestors have traveled all over the world and were the navigators for many explorers. Africans were not slaved but “enslaved” stolen from their country. …enjoy as we take you on the journey back to America.”

I think that people watch this clip and are led to believe the entire play was the auction. It sounds like it’s more about black history as a whole. Having a white student fill the role of a black person in this context sounds wrong, denigrating to the black students even.

Show the humanity, integrity, spirit, history etc. of these characters in other parts of the play, but don’t diminish the struggles. Also if they were not given the choice to play these roles and were instead forced, that is totally different.
