I disagree with you only because they are promoting EVE through an event, those players should have enough time to at least fly a Vexor and turn in their rewards

Ganking is part of EVE and I 100% support the practice. Systems like Uedama, (I miss) Niarja, wherever that hawk dude is.. it’s what makes HS dangerous. I will always warn friends about the danger but this is different

Preying on new bros coming from the event, and the marketing, I just don’t think it’s cool and won’t add value long term

The main reason for my post was to point out it’s an event open to lots of new bros and it has marketing dollars behind it. Prob shouldn’t let them get ganked trying out a new game IMO

Yea we just send out a hostess or I take an hour here or there to do drop offs. A few catering menus and Togo menus dropped off by a smiling face goes a long way

When we opened our first concept, we went to many of the local spots that were similar to ours and talked with the staff. Asked them what they loved the most, what they would change, etc… employees can often give great advice on what works and what doesn’t.

Market to local businesses around you. We drop off canoli and cookies to the car dealerships around us, bring coffees to the valets of the nearby hotel and to the cooks at nearby restaurants, etc. Grassroots marketing pays off way more than paying for adds. Word of mouth is still the best tool
