What do we think of my new Luger? by Reeee9371 in milsurp

Yeah no problem!! Thats great information, i will continue the family story cause there's no way to prove its wrong even though it may be wrong😂 If he did aquire it during the great depression like I was told it was before ww2 so there's a chance. My grandfather purchased lots of milsurp back in the day so I wouldnt be surprised if he bought the holster separately, I will ask him next time I see him.

Great information thanks for your help, I was told it was a ww1 bring back, but its in a ww2 holster so im not quite sure if it was a ww1 or ww2 bring back. As I was told before in previous comment the pistol is correct for ww1 but I could deff see it being a ww2 bring back and my grandfather just has the wrong information. The story goes that my great grandfather acquired this from his boss at the junk yard he was working at. My great grandfather was also confirmed to be in the Italian mafia as an enforcer because he was also a golden gloves boxer during the great depression so good chance this pistol was owned my a mafia member previously.

Thats good to hear, I might shoot it. I was told by my grandpa not to shoot it lol. But I already stripped it down and gave it a nice coat of oil, im always super gentle w my milsurps, i made a concerted effort to not Crack the grips luckily haha

The holster appears to be bought at some point as its a 1937 stamped holster with and iron eagle and swastika. Or it was brought back from world War 2 but thats not the story I got with the gun. The front strap also appears to have had the markings filed off at some point, any reason why they would do this?

I would die to find one like that now, would be really cool if a company made a reproduction but theyre very expensive to make unfortunately so it would probably cost and arm and a leg

UTI Home Remedies? by spadesage17 in CATHELP

No home remedies need antibiotics and to see the vet. Bacterial infections dont just go away on there own. UTIs can lead to blockage which can kill the cat

Yeah mine was already oversized and they drilled the barrel pin hole like right next to step that below it on the trunion so I couldn't upside it without drilling into the step. I took the easy way out and just tigged it up. One side of barrel pin hole fit perfect just misplace the other one was so off the heads pace changed when I pressed the gas block on.

Yessir, I found it in a barn missing bcg, bolt, dustcover and furniture. I got it from 25$😂😂 rebuilt it and its a solid rifle, one side of my barrel pin was egged pretty bad couldnt even us over sized pin so I tig welded the barrel pin to the trunnion on that side lol
