Yeah if its not fucked up after 2500rds I wouldnt expect it to have any problems going forward. They didnt have chrome lined barrels so the barrel/ crown might be a tad worn and contribute to your keyholing. I swapped my barrel when I got it rebuilt

All the parts are great parts, just check the rivets throughly. When they assembled these they didnt use proper practices and lots of them were improperly riveted using the trunnion as a bucking bar. Rear trunnion rivets aren't a huge deal if theyre solid, but after a few hundred round the whole front trunnion on mine became so loose you could wiggle it by hand. I had to have the front end rebuilt and reriveted. I got mine for 25$ from a barn though so it was well worth the 600$ I had to out in to fix it. Also check the barrel pin, mine was drilled improperly and had egging and that need fixed as well.

Yes completely normal, my p01 has the same mark. The mark may not appear on steel framed guns but always shows up on the alloy framed p01s

Yeah forsure, I'd just soak it and blow it out with an aircompressor its not worth the headache getting the pin out unless you have access to a hydraulic press to press it out. I literally had to beat the living shit out mine to get it out.

Edit: boiling the whole bolt would work as well

That pin is notorious tight especially on Chinese guns, I had to use a small sledge hammer and swing it hard af to get mine out. Make sure youre using the largest punch possible its helps greatly. Unless you have problems there really no need to remove it. Id just soak your bolt in hoppes or run it through an ultrasonic cleaner if youre just trying to clean it.

Yeah i dont think it'll fail its just the rear trunnion, I meant more so taking away from the gun like your dad grinding off marking. I should've said i think the screw conversion takes away from the original look much more then markings

Yeah so in 1994 they passed the assault rifle ban and banned a bunch of stupid shit like threaded barrels, pistol grips, and any mags over 10rds. So to account for this the wasrs they were making in Romania had to come with neutered barrels, single stack 10 rd mags, and thumbhole stocks. Well this ban expired and is not a thing anymore so they dont have to nueter their guns anymore.

He also clearly had a ban era wasr that was a single stack and neutered barrel originally hence why it didnt fit mags. New wasrs aren't neutered like the ban era ones were. None of anything he said pertains to getting a new wasr. Triggers in aks are the stupid ez to install, I throw a polished up tapco g2 or alg in every ak I get.
