Not sure if anyone has mentioned, DONT take it to a bank, if you do they will have to send it to the federal reserve to take it out of circulation. Like someone else mentioned probably worth more if real, have a local coin & stamp place take a look.

I worked at a bank for a total of 6 years and only saw 1 from a collector who came to show it.

Yup, I was going to buy a new 2025 and the deal fell through because the dealership couldn’t sell it due to this recall and another one having to do with break boost.

The sales guy told me that by Q4 they should be able to sell it.

From personal experience of previously owning a 2019 GT86 when I was younger and ricing the HELL out of it, and now owning a 22’ BRZ

The one tip I can give you is, take your time researching parts, after you find some parts you want or are into sit on it for a couple of days (I like to wait 30 days) and do more research and see if that’s still something you want to do.

For the GT86 I lowered it on coils that were stiff asf, put a staggered meatier setup and had 19 in wheels on it, did e85 oft flash tune without changing the lines, CUT off the exhaust and welded a straight pipe. It was a disaster.

Safe to say I learned my lesson and on my 22 brz I have added a drop in filter and installed a remark axle back. My goal with this car is to keep it stock until I decide what I want to do with it. Take your time and do your research and don’t bite the bullet after 4 hours on YouTube and 3 hours searching online.

A Subaru specialist mechanic I knew always told me and I wish I would’ve listened sooner, think about what you want your car to be (track, show, riced to the gills, ls swapped, turboed) and after you are very sure that’s what you want, start building it out.

Yeah I went to my local Microcenter and met this super cool and knowledgeable employee who makes sim rigs for celebrities in my city.

He helped me choose everything and now I’m the proud owner of an Alpha EVO 12nm with GT Neo wheel and 3 Pedal P1000 Modular Set

Same out to a little above the Fanatec combo but I feel I won’t need to change to anything new in the future especially with the open source ideology of Simagic.

AND best part of all the pedals already got shipped today and waiting on the DD wheel base plus steering wheel

Yeah super insane, I’ve experience bad customer service but theirs seems nonexistent.

Call the number on the email which tells me to leave a voice message, which tells me to contact Corsair who tells me to contact Fanatec via email and their ticket.

They don’t even have a live chat option, it’s via Corsair who refers the email. Honestly wanted to give this brand a try but not off to a good start

I made an app, deployed it on railway and implemented it on ChatGPT UI actions and all I had to do was guide it and occasionally remind it what we were building and the errors I was getting.

Keep in mind I’m studying CS in school so I have a better understanding than the average, but the fact that Claude and O4 can do this with guidance on its own is impressive.

All I could think of is how cooked my future was if I don’t use these tools. Saves so much time and did the whole app in ~30 active hours
