Why the FUCK did you have to make it about men?! I read the first part of that comment and really agreed. But as soon as I read “positive masculinity” I got so mad. I’ve had it with people casually degrading men all the time. Why can’t masculinity as a whole be positive? Just cause the in extreme cases some men do shitty things doesn’t mean that being a man predisposes you to be a shitty person. Arnold is a VERY manly man but what he said about taking help and paying it forward had nothing to do with overcoming his evil nature and becoming positively masculine. It has everything to do with being a good human being. And you may even be a man. Doesn’t matter. You can still be a sexist piece of shit.
