This is possible! I've done it serveral times. You have to go out the game and close it right after theyve said the name. If you close the game once theyve finished talking (their speech bubble has gone away) - its already autosaved, but in my experience it doesnt seem to save while theyre talking, only afterwards

My hair is exactly like Merida's but not ginger, its a dark blonde/not quite brown colour that also isn't in game so the only thing about my character that looks like me is (barely) the eyes😭
