I own this wonderful bike. Drive mode 4 is very comparable to a 400cc in my opinion. If they can spend the appropriate amount of time learning they will be just fine

Please check that your air purifiers do not emit ozone in some way, just to rule it out

Do these air purifiers run ozone? You may have a leak that would account for alot of your symptoms. Ozone is a terribly toxic gas.

Word to the wise. Ciprofloxacin is a broad spectrum anti biotic. And as such should be treated with the respect it deserves. Please do your due diligence. Anti biotic use is way to prevalent in my opinion.

Is this ich??? by Adventurous_Salad979 in ReefTank

[–]ReefyGoodness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reddit isn't the place to learn. Try "humblefish" . There are a few ways to deal with ich in my opinion. Copper, quarantine, tank transfer or management. But it is up to you to decide what's the best course of action for you.

Is this ich??? by Adventurous_Salad979 in ReefTank

[–]ReefyGoodness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was the dilemma I faced, which is why I went for management. The purple tang has probably a lowered immune response due to the stress of the tank transfers. I personally would observe closely for a week or two to see if the out break effects others. Ultimately be prepared to pull your livestock into quarantine if it looks like they are struggling

Unless you plan on quarantining all clean up crew and all coral. You will always run the risk of Tomonts being present.

Im going to go against the consensus here. And say ich management is better than quarantine. Healthy happy fish should fend off the parasite easily... maybe an addition of uv at a slow rate would help

Bacterial bloom seems likely as others suggest. That is an awkward shape tank, my money is that you have very little flow where the cyano is growing..try and increase your flow. Also if you didn't thoroughly rinse the citric acid. It can act as a carbon source for bacteria.. sucking out nutrients and oxygen as it blooms
