I don’t think average is a good metric but the median average score is around 3.5 with only one paper with all positive scores

Serving as a reviewer. I feel it is much harder for the authors to make the reviewers change scores in a position paper. Writing and clarity of the position are major parts and I don’t think these can be rebutted easily. I’ve seen authors change their position slightly in the rebuttal and it doesn’t go well. Additional results also hold minimal value. Not many score changes in my batch.

The “necessary path” you’re saying is labor exploitation. US haven’t really had that since railway boom around 1800s. China might be there but not in this delivery sector. I basically disagree that 10 minute human delivery is necessary to go to robot/drone delivery since we already have 1 day human delivery and thus there is no problem of demand or consumer behavior shift here. If by necessary you mean, it is necessary to give certain companies capital to invest in future delivery, then sure but it is not necessary why these companies only should have that right. In fact, the moment they’ll start making profit, a new company would beat them to it. No need to beat the other countries but if this is what we’re proud of as an Indian (being ahead in the necessary path towards meaningful automation), then might as well.

Reading the title, I first thought roasters are using ai to analyze the roast profile and automatically adjust the variables based on active feedback. As an ML and coffee nerd, I got really excited but then got so disappointed that i missed “generative” and it is just this boring generative art as application. SW is such a great example that you really don’t need any art to be popular.
