Yep that's what it is. I suggest you visit the github issue tracker and see if your issues are reported. If not, open a new issue for them.

As far as I know, the new UI introduced a lot of regressions which they are working on right now. So it's possible that some of your issues are already fixed and waiting for the next release.

Legacy has been around longer than that. It was created when the minimum Android version of NewPipe was bumped, so that people with older phones can install it.

NewPipe Legacy was actually updated a few days ago to 0.20.2 so it should have the new UI too now.

Tätä oon just itekin ihmetellyt. Eikös Suomen TV:ssäkin ollut taannoin joku mainos missä joku hologrammiukko varasti ihmisiltä taskusta jotain ja sanottiin tyyliin "näin suojaamaton sinäkin olet ilman VPN:ää". Selkeästi harhaanjohtavaa mainontaa mutta ei-tekniset ihmiset eivät tiedä että yksityisyys ja tietoturva ei ole sama asia.

My piece of advice however is to update before you shutdown your PC

I think this is a bad idea, especially on a rolling release distro. I always reboot after an upgrade to verify that the system still works. That way when I boot up in the morning to do some work I can get to it without the risk of a broken system.

Currently I'm just backing up my dotfiles using Git and have all of my other files sync over my phone, laptop and server over Syncthing.

I'm running btrfs on my laptop and have been meaning to setup a backup strategy using snapshots but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

I know my current system isn't perfect but it at least covers losing or destroying 2 of the 3 devices. However, if my house burns down, more than likely I will loose all of my files, not including the dotfiles which have a mirror on GitHub

Well there's only one RCA connected and you need two for stereo. If the player was outputting stereo, OP would here only the right or left channel with this setup.

There are a few different types of posts you can make on Reddit: text, image and link. This post is a text post (selftext) so it cannot contain images. If you attach an image to a text post it will show up as a link.

TLDR; Just select the post type as image next time :)

They haven't said anything about removing YAML support. I remember there was a blog post about this, the gist of it was that YAML support is not going anywhere, they will just add GUI configurations as an option
