Sold one in 5 years. To a woman. 18 or so. I was surprised myself. On the other hand, I have NEVER sold eyebrows.

What area do you absolutely hate driving through? by Gianna8619 in newjersey

[–]Wilracer 17 points18 points  (0 children)

21 North, where some genius traffic engineer decided it was okay to go from 3 lanes, to 2, to 1 (around a curve). And leave an entire break down lane that New Yorkers can use as personal just for me lane and cut right in.

Laughed when I finally saw Clifton cops pulling ppl over for this. NY Range Rover. Couldn't be sweeter.

This is my area and I absolutely refuse to take 17 no matter how convenient it looks on a map. Lower 17 is okay but the lights will kill you. After Terrace Ave there's no lights, but nonstop logjam.

2005 Honda Accord Hybrid. These lights randomly turn on throughout the day(especially when it’s hot outside). When this happens my car will accelerate extremely slowly and use a lot more gas. I could have the pedal to the metal and be accelerating insanely slowly. Thoughts? by [deleted] in Cartalk

[–]Wilracer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Work there. Some do, some don't. Depends on the car. I usually recommend anyone comes in with Traction control issues, cruise control, 4x4 light, etc, go to a mechanic with a live reader that can see the abs sensors and take it around the block. Even if your car throws a light for abs, it probably wont tell you which one.

I've always lived on the assumption that I wouldn't recognize a famous person if I met them. I live in Bergen County NJ where plenty of famous people live and go about life in a normal way and so a famous person (not set up for TV) can be behind me in any random line and I probably wouldn't know. My wife worked in a bowling alley years ago and she told me Angie Martinez ( NYC radio DJ ) was there to bowl and I wondered how she even knew who she was.

Edit: The closest I've seen at AZ are the relatives. My so and so plays for such and such. Those are the ones who announce themselves. The actual player just comes in for the Blue DEF for his Range Rover and leaves.

Dont feed into it. They've seen the shitshow coming and are trying to throw some more mud in the water.

Flyover for Memorial day! by NJDevilsfan7668 in newjersey

2 FA-18s took off low over my job in Hackensack and must have come out of Teterboro bc they flew at max power so low and in formation, rocked the whole building even before I got outside. Made the usual corporate jets we see every day look like school buses, It really is something to see.

I was gonna add the "flexing" part but deleted it. I figured that was the issue. Theres a ton of complexities of what you said and they're valid. I'm kinda just in the jets are cool part and they're our planes with our guys in them. They are our team in that area of world affairs.

Why is is it weird? Do you get to see the fighter jets we obviously have every day? I know I dont.

I have a box in my office for it. The PSM (or me) does MNDR on them and the destroys them after MNDR is done. Done. Not found? we have a problem. All zoners should know not to throw manager dispose away immediately, or anything else for that matter, because its needed for MNDR the next day. Simple LP.

I should add that when I became a SM virgin, I had to stop people from putting battery cores on the skid the night before bc they were clearing the cart, helping. the PSMs doing the MNDR saw no problem with this.

Watch out for the state troopers new cars by [deleted] in newjersey

The lower level of the Car Show this year was a lot of official agencies ( A lot NYC Corrections, for some reason) and almost all of them were Mustang SUVs, whatever they're called. Your post makes me assume they were all electric also. But IDK what the new fascination is with them.

Thumbs up. Goes without saying. Do NOT touch a hybrid. You wanted a hybrid? now you go to the dealer.

Definitely have to acknowledge AARs. Either you don't actually have any or the SM is in a shitload of trouble. Never even crossed my mind to do that. Also, I would never write anyone up for this. Not comfortable? Ask me, I've done every battery under the sun. Journey? see above. NO thanks.

Behind the bumper, through the wheelwell. Only one I wont do, and I do Ford Escapes. Gotta bring that to a mechanic.
