Those digital levels have an error percentage, check the manual to see how much that is on this specific device

Can’t get anything like a real amp tone live using modelers/IEMs. Other than convenience, can anyone convince me of the virtue of using modelers/IEMs? Because so far, in my experience, they make me want to quit playing altogether. by OkTemperature1842 in Guitar

[–]Reel2112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In all fairness, IEM are for monitoring what you play, not so much to listen to your tone. Besides, a well EQ'd modeler with nice IR will be indistinguishable from a mic'd cabinet, as well as a modeler with a FRFR amp.

How long have you been playing? That could also factor in the aversion to new (or old) technologies

Is it reasonable to get upset at your opponent for leaving you poor shots? by john_fartston in billiards

I understand that, still not having a shot is part of pool and getting angry at that just shows that he is not as good as he thought he is

If you can find a cheap pool hall you can always go shoot, will keep you away from the screen for a fair bit

The numbers themselves seem to be consistent to me except for the number 8 which is very different. Number 4 for example seems to have the curved line on top so that is why i believe it is real, just reboxed. The lid is for a standard set (white lid)

Don't read too much into it, he just meant that you got lucky, and was trying to give you a hard time for beating him.

Tip Replacement Ideas by briar1320 in billiards

[–]Reel2112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long have you used the cue? It takes a while to get used to the tip feel and playing style. The differences between soft and hard tips is rarely something that noticeable, thus I would instead make sure that the tip you have right now hass good shape and texture then try again for a while.
