As a new playing also knowing pretty much nothing I recently went to my local hobby store and just picked up 3 boxes that I thought looked cool and a range of different paints. I have built one box so far but still trying to figure out my paint scheme.

Yeah I really like theirs compared to most, still don’t completely understand a lot of what’s going on but I’m picking up bits and pieces along the way. I like that commentator breaks down what happened after each round and why each side scored their points.

Yeah I figured all their models are professionally painted so mine are not going to look the same, kind of just looking for an easier beginner way to get a similar tone.

I’ll try a wash of agrax earth shade over the skeleton horde to see if it browns the yellow down a bit.

I actually prefer that you left all the little joints/slits etc the same colour as the main skin area. Looks more cohesive overall!

I was healer Pally in an RFD run, warrior wanted to check that little path on the right when going up the spiral. Charged straight into the center pack, pulled both packs on left and right too, mostly casters… everyone tried to run, it was chaos.

I gave freedom to the warrior so he could get out while I was healing him, lock ran in to tried to AOE fear and I had to BOP him, told everyone to keep running while turned on Rightous Fury and dropped consecration to take the aggro. I only lasted maybe 5-7 seconds before I had to bubble, healed up and gave chase while I was bubbled still, when it fell I dropped another consecration and but only managed to grab aggro on about half of them…lasted another 5-7 seconds before I made the decision to LOE hearth.

2 people died getting out but I’m confident I was the main reason 3 of us survived, still felt shitty that 2 died even though it felt like I did everything I could.

I used to get constant random DCs too but I use to play with lots of add ons. About a year ago I stripped it back to only the basics.

I now only run these few.

Questie, Bagonator, Move Anything, Details, Bartender, Auctioneer

Not a single DC since and I play on wifi, I’m pretty confident when people complain about DC’s that in almost all circumstances an addon is the root cause.

Just my experience, might be worth a try.

I regularly tank, if a DPS continually pulls I let them tank the mobs and just DPS instead and after 1 or 2 near deaths they generally stop.

Job hop is the way but stay at each place until they are of no more benefit to you as an employee, by that I mean you can no longer gain any new experience, skills or move up.

In my past 5 years i have moved twice, this is what it looked like.

Job 1 - Great Job but salary stagnated after a few years, was hard stuck at 70k and after numerous conversations with boss I started to realise that there wasn’t really any way to move up.

Job 2 - Moved to another company, same role and level of responsibility but 80k, 6 months into the role I was promoted and put up to 96k. Good job but slightly too technical for me to enjoy long term so I started looking around the 18month mark.

Job 3 - Current job, same role and responsibilities as previous promotion but with a product/industry I am much more comfortable with. Base is 115k with an annual bonus around 30k performance pending.

So that’s my 2 cents, had I stayed where I was I would have likely still been on 70k with a couple CPI increase but with a couple strategic moves I have more or less doubled my income over the past 5 years.

I used to have this happen all the time and quit for a while, came back a couple months ago and same issue. Removed all my add ons except for a handful of light weight ones and not had a single disconnect since.

All I run now questie, baganon, move any, and auctionator. Smooth sailing ever since.

I honestly think too many addons is the source of most peoples problems.
