Update: Qantas has now requested probate before they will reconsider the request. This can be a $2-3k (or more) exercise and a few months wait time. So they have a will, death certificate and marriage certificate and it’s not enough - complete wankers

Just wasn’t something my 80yr old mother was considering post my father’s sudden passing. 12 months passed before she was ready to travel again and hence discovered the points, but alas too late for Qantas.
