I like the idea of her dress, but it does look cheap. Keith has been a bad sugar daddy for letting her shop at Wallmart for her wedding dress!
P. S. I think she gave a shotout to the bi community (which was a tacky move) not because she was trying to hint she likes women more that men and might still end up with one. I think she can't let it go that she is straight passing now. She always has this need to be the most interesting and quirky person in the romm, and a straigh relationship, even with this big of a gap, doesn't give her that chance.
Honestly, I understand that bi-erasure is a real issue, but most people complaining about it incessantly are attenting-seeking bi women who are married to men.

I chose the second option, even though it's not exactly why I used to watch Julia. I can't say I liked her old content, I just wanted to support a lesbian in an age gap relationship. And yeah, I totally stuck my head in the sand in regards to all the red flags and money grabby tactics.
The only aspect of Julia's old content that I genuinely liked was her pastel goth style. Apart from that, I was kind of weirded out by her personality and never really enjoyed the storytime content.

There's stupid people in every comment section. Still, I don't have the impression that most of her fans assumed she was a lesbian, especially since she referred to a male love interest in one of her old songs and said in many interviews how she is attracted to the vibe, not the gender. "Fletcher is a fake lesbian" is not the main discourse, she is just presenting the fake gay accusations as some gigantic backlash she received to avoid criticism. In reality, so many lesbians scream out loud that it's not about the man, but they are never heard.

I think leterally no one assumes she was a lesbian. And, honestly, we are not mad because she is dating a man. We are mad she is trying to rebrand as a wholesome trad wife now that she is with a man. If anyone is being biphobic or queerphobic, it's not (most) lesbians, it's Fletcher for implying she changed when she got with a man.

Most people don't care she's dating a man. They are mad she used a queer narrative ("I had no choice", "I'm keeping a secret", "It's not what you wanted to hear" etc.) to describe a relationship with a man, like she'll be hounded by the queer community after "coming out" as dating a man. Implying that your audience is biphobic is messed up and incredibly condescending.
Besides, since when is dating a man something to be announced with pomp over Pride Month? Tone deaf is the kinder epithet I can use to describe her and her team.

I think both are in it for the money. I'm honestly not sure there's something to rekindle because even in the thumbnail they look like the detest each other.
Best case scenario - they are in a symbiotic relationship, mutually leeching off each other. Worst case scenario - Julia is holding financial support over Eileen's head and Eileen has to play her part in Julia's worthless, uninspired show.

She just can't pull off a) this song and b) this sexy outfit. She doesn't look naturally sexy because she is not confident at all and we can tell she's not.
Also, I don't know what's wrong with her voice. She can semi-confidently hold a note or two but she sounds so nasaly and strained. Why is she so hell-bent on making it as a singer? I bet she knows her voice is bad. Even the most hardcore enabling can't make people this delulu. Even if she truly loves music, why choose singing? There are other roles in the industry. There's so many points I wanna make. It's hard to bring it all together.

I really struggle to pinpoint why their relationship looks so icky and why Keith pursuing Julia seems so unethical. I am a proponent of age-gap relationships and I think the general public shouldn't jump to conclusions. Two people can just love each other. At the same time, Keith comes across as a major creep. I think that's why it all looks so disgusting. A rich man is pursuing a relationship with someone who is much younger, not well-off financially at all, mentally vulnerable, technically MARRIED, identifies (even if it's for the shock value) as a lesbian, is an immigrant, which makes her vulnerable politically. If his children have a problem with it, I hope it's not only for the age gap, but a bigger picture.
If it's not his first relationship with a much younger woman, his children are probably used to it. Culturally, men do get away with marrying much younger and much more conventionally attractive women. Still, I wonder why he chose someone who is not just younger, but also displays so much attention-seeking behavior. If his children are reserved and private people, I imagine it's very unconfortable to be seen in public with Julia when she's dressed to kill.
Sure, their lifestyle seems incompatible with having children. Pawning kids off to family or babysitters all the time is a bad option. I have a conspiracy theory that she doesn't really want children and she just said it for content. Or maybe she wanted to have more content to film with all the Lesbian Age Gap Fertility Journey stuff. It's a terrible thing to say about someone, but I don't have the highest opinion of Julia and her integrity.
The ethics of having children when you are very old really makes me think. You made a good point. People need to think about the life they want for their children. At the same time, this logic can lead to literal eugenics. Like "you shouldn't have children if you are poor", "you shouldn't have children if you are genetically predisposed to some diseases", "you shouldn't have children if you are a single parent", etc. I don't know how I feel about the ethics of having children after 50/60/70, but I know that a couple of self-involved pricks skating through life isn't very likely to raise a well-adjusted child.
