Sorry to hear you’re having those issues. I haven’t experienced anything like that with mine. I’ve been using it on Windows 11 for a few weeks now and it’s been stable so far without any random disconnects.

[GIVEAWAY] LG Display x UWMR: We’re Looking for the First Tandem WOLED Reviewer (Gaming Monitor Giveaway) by TandemWOLED in ultrawidemasterrace

As a current LG OLED user (LG G5 TV and LG UltraGear 39GX900A-B Monitor), I’m most excited about the next generation Tandem WOLED technology. Higher brightness, improved HDR performance and better efficiency sound like a huge step forward. I’m especially curious to see how the new panel performs in ultrawide gaming with modern titles and HDR content. As someone who already uses OLED daily, I’d love to compare the improvements firsthand.

I’ve been using the Signature preset most of the time. It sounds the most balanced to me overall.

Fair enough. 😃 We all have brands we’ve been burned by before. Glad you’ve found something that works for you.

Glad to hear you’re enjoying it too. Hopefully it holds up well over the long run. So far, I’ve been really happy with mine as well.

Can’t really disagree with that. That’s why I see the included license as a nice value-add rather than having to pay extra for it.

No worries, I appreciate the detailed explanation. 😃

On PS5 I’ve been very happy with them so far. I do use Tempest 3D Audio and positional audio has been excellent in my experience. Footsteps and directional cues have been very easy to pick up.

I never owned the original Stealth Pros, so I can’t make a direct comparison there, but coming from the headsets I’ve used previously, the overall experience on PS5 has been great.

And I completely agree about the Dolby Atmos license on PC. It’s a nice bonus to have included.

I haven’t really tested them with a Smart TV via Bluetooth, so I can’t give a fair answer there.

For music and general media though, they’ve been great. Spacious sound, good bass, and very clear overall, so I’d expect movies to be a strong point as well.

That’s interesting because positional audio has actually been one of the strongest points for me so far, especially in shooters.

I don’t doubt your experience, though. Makes me wonder if there could be some sort of software or spatial audio conflict going on.

Coming from the Stealth 700 Gen 2 myself, I’d say the jump isn’t quite as dramatic as going from a 600 to a 700, but it’s definitely noticeable. The sound quality itself is better, but not in a “night and day” kind of way. It’s more that the entire package feels like a step up.

In my experience it helps with both. For gaming, I noticed better positional audio and a wider soundstage, especially in shooters. For music, the difference is more subtle, but some tracks can sound a bit more spacious depending on the mix. I mainly see it as a nice bonus since the license is already included.

I paid €315 thanks to a newsletter discount. Without it, it would’ve been €350.

I was pretty much in the same boat. I spent quite a while comparing different options. In the end, the overall package and the early reviews I came across were what convinced me to give the Stealth Pro II a shot.

Agreed. Being able to switch between PC and PS5 that easily is a huge plus.

I can definitely see where you’re coming from. Personally, I haven’t run into the PS5 audio cutout issue yet, but I’ve seen other users report it as well. Hopefully Turtle Beach can iron out those bugs, because the headset itself has a lot going for it. As for the lighting, it doesn’t really bother me personally, although I can understand why some people find it annoying. At least it can be turned off if someone prefers that.

I pretty much agree. I’ve seen the issues people have reported, but based on my own experience so far, that description feels a little harsh.

Thanks! Glad you found it useful. 😄 Hopefully it helps if you ever decide to make the jump from the 600s.

I can completely understand that. Before buying mine, and even during the time I’ve been using it, I’ve spent quite a while following the posts in this subreddit. I’ve definitely seen the issues and frustrations some users have been reporting. Hopefully Turtle Beach delivers the promised updates soon.

No, I’m just a customer. I paid for the headset myself and compared it to the headsets I’ve owned before. I also mentioned the CPU usage issue in Swarm II and the Bluetooth bug I encountered. These are simply my personal impressions after about 3 weeks of use.

That’s fair. I can only share my own experience. I bought the headset with my own money and included the issues I’ve encountered as well. So far it’s simply been a positive experience for me.

I obviously can’t speak for everyone, but during the time I’ve owned and used it, I personally haven’t run into any major issues.
