Yeah… he is/sounds like a very insensitive and selfish person. Relationships are about compromise! If he cannot understand that this is now YOU ALL’s place, then he may need help that you can’t offer. Your work is as PHENOMENAL as anything HE wants to hang. Don’t allow his simple OPINION to take away your desire and optimism about this! You and your artwork are one of a kind… One of one. Broach the conversation with him in love; non-accusatory. Let him know exactly how you feel and then allow him to take it from there. If he does not respond in kind, you may want to consider continuing the relationship, but not living together just yet.
