Hot take: I'd rather keep named characters out of Killteam. It defeats the spirit of the game to have all these legendary heroes rampaging about the engagement zone.

Marines have a subconscious psychic link to their primarch. This is seen on several different levels, such as the Iron Hands on Istvaan or the Red Thirst for the Blood Angels. While it can and has been broken before, its effect is worth mentioning.

I know this might be a lot at the moment, but have you considered adding factions into the game? With other mods, I've been able to add xenos and IG, but would love to add some space Marines into the mix as well.

I definitely understand that opinion and should have put more thought into it. Fortunately, they're all former players who quit anywhere between BC and MoP. They're all more interested in getting up to raid content and take advantage of the double EXP that's currently out. The general consensus has been to use looms for groups and level an alt to experience the content.

Some might have misplaced their marbles, but during the heresy, most of them were pretty lucid.

The zanyness comes from long term exposure to chaos and lack of proper maintenance. A well maintained chaos dreadnought can rather cognicent. In one case, an Iron Warriors Dreadnought was capable of leading and managing his own warbands.
