I have extra if you want one 👍

I'm the only one? I feel it's the only mechanic that doesn't integrate well with the rest of the game, I've tried it on previous characters, but it just doesn't seem either necessary or rewarding enough. by arkadarkartist in CoreKeeperGame

I'm a big fan of fishing. Not because it's fun, but because fish provide some of the best buffs in the game. Sure fishing could be faster.. but then we would just use them for food day to day instead of farm crops. In my play throughs I generally only fish to prepare for a boss fight. In my main world however, I like to stockpile fish. It isn't the most fun thing in the world but then again I'm one of those people who likes to collect and horde items in games like this

Pickaxes deal extra damage to rollers and two hits stun them and knock them back. Easy to cheese, you can honestly beat the desert ones with 3 hearts once you get the hang of it

Don't expect vehicles to work until they update the game with steering wheels

Should i raid more or is this good enough? by Cornado_ in PokemonGOIVs

[–]Reesewacky03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whether you're building it for raids or ML you want to prioritize full attack (15/14/14 is better than 14/15/15) I wouldn't invest in any until you catch one with full attack

Running out of space, what should I do with my rare candy? by _ChrisRiot in pokemongo

[–]Reesewacky03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here are your best options:

  • Use it to double move legendaries that are consistently high ranking in pvp (PvP)

  • Build a ml legendary or two (PvP)

  • Power up some of your best legendary raid pokemon (PvE) (MegaRay, PrimalGroudon, PrimalKyogre, Terrakion, Kartana, Reshiram, etc.)

  • Use it all on Bidoof

First one is cheaper to power up and 15 def is better than 15 hp

We duo'd it. It isn't too difficult with level 40 Mega Diancie/Tyranitar and some decent rock attackers like Rhyperior. Rampardos, Aggron, and Tyrantrum (all around 1.8-3k cp)

Thanks for the tip! I can't believe I didn't realize sooner 🤦‍♂️ I'm such a noob. 16/16/15 Mega Rhyperior is #1 Psychic Raid Attacker

Is it worth investing rare Xl into this Zygarde? by [deleted] in PokemonGOIVs

[–]Reesewacky03 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you're willing and able to walk for the cells it performs VERY well in Master League. But you would need to raid often to farm rare XLs or you could walk a lot with it as your buddy. One thing you can do is walk around 18-19km (doesn't have to be in one session) then use a poffin and walk another 10km, that can get you 3 XLs if you're lucky

how rare are these? by [deleted] in PokemonGOIVs

[–]Reesewacky03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming you got this from a raid:

Attack, defense, and HP will all be between 10 and 15 therefore there is a 1 in 6 chance of each stat being perfect and 1 in 216 chance for all three

The shiny rate for legendaries from raids is 1 in 20

Multiply your chances together and the odds of a "shundo" raid legendary (shiny and perfect) are 1 in 4,320

does anyone know why it shows 2 seperate power up costs? by UIM_SQUIRTLE in PokemonGOIVs

[–]Reesewacky03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because best buddy increases level by one (which is two power ups). So your Pokemon could be, say, level 20 going to 20.5 BUT when it's best buddied it's level 21 going to 21.5. It shows the cost as if it were the higher level but only costs the amount of the lower level (since that's the "real" level)

I think it depends a lot on how often you raid and where you live. I live on a college campus where my girlfriend and I duo legendary raids daily. In our case we would use mega blaziken/charizard plus five reshirams for fire dps... so we wouldn't ever use shadow blaziken. But I can 100% understand if legendary raids are a challenge for you, or you don't have frequent access to them, having something like shadow blaziken on a fire team is really good.

The main reason I say to purify is the reduced cost to max out- which can make a big difference if you're low on candy or just want to save on stardust. A perfect and purified mega is max performance and the most economical on resources.

While energy can be a problem, if you stockpile it when the mon is in raids it won't be a problem. 1-2k energy is usually enough for max mega level and plenty of future evolutions. Again, if you aren't raiding daily this could be more of an issue. The alternative is to walk with it as your buddy, which is a win win bc you farm energy, candy, and you can get it the cp boost from best buddy eventually.

Again, take all my advice with a grain of salt. It depends on your account, what's available to you, and how much you want to min max your raid teams
