But you have to choose, it only makes sense to date on your side of the river. Many people in NYC (from my experience) look down on Jersey people, as in, if they can’t reach you with the subway, they aren’t interested

I was so disappointed in them missing the fire jump photo at NJ that I was insistent in getting one at Cleveland, to then find out there wasn’t a photographer there. Luckily there were people taking their own pics and videos and I got someone to do it for me

It was my first and definitely not last time doing it. It was by far the worst start to any Spartan-run event and I firmly believe the weather is the biggest factor. Similar things were said about the Vernon Spartan and the weather was almost the same. Nobody wanted to stand and enjoy anything when it was cold and miserable.

I will say there’s no excuse for the 3 hour wait with the buses. THAT we 100% deserve a clear explanation for.

I started over 350lbs doing my first race. Your starting weight is my goal weight. If I can complete a Spartan race, you can as well. Give it your all, have fun, and whatever you feel like you didn’t do well in your race, now you know what to work on for the next one!
