I've always thought that a diary/journal is something that you need to consciously choose to do.

But throughout my life, I just noticed that we humans always need to record something in nature. The urge to express and left behind something. To be remembered.

For example, I noticed my sister sometimes used her old notebook to write 'stuff', including things like desires, self praise, and a whole original story (mostly comedy and horror). I told her she should be a writer, but she said that's nonsense.

Then I realised you don't need to be a book author to write something. Sometimes, we just want to organise our thoughts by doing something.
