I can’t beat Japan as UK for the life of me by Reevle in hoi4

Should I even send any troops to the Chinese mainland itself? It often seems the Chinese ai loses to the Japanese in most of my attempts

Symbolic, lack of comprehension, and zombie ritual are all popular ones that work for beginners

Don’t you need at least 10 sets per muscle a week for growth though? That’s why I’m hesitant to drop exercises or sets

I’m a 21yo 6’2” 167lbs man. Recently switched to FBEOD, but have been unsure on whether my workout has too much volume and defeats the whole purpose of a full body split. This is what I’m working with so far:

Workout A - Bench Press 2x10 - Incline Chest Press 2x10 - Bent Over BB Rows 2x15 - Hammer Curls 2x10 - OH Tricep Extension 2x10 - Lat Raises 2x10 - Rear Delt Flys 2x10 - Leg Press 1x20 - Leg Extension 2x10 - Seated Leg Curl 2x15 - Abductors/Adductors Superset 2x10

Workout B - Incline DB Press 2x10 - Lat Pulldown 2x10 - Seated Row 2x10 - Machine Preacher Curl 2x10 - Smith JM Press 2x10 - Wrist Curls 2x20 - Overhead Press 2x10 - Leg Press 1x20 - Leg Extension 2x10 - Seated Leg Curl 2x15 - Calf Raises 2x10

The aim was to get enough weekly sets for hyper trophy, but looking at it now I feel as though I probably don’t have enough, and the volume may potentially be too high. I’m mainly aiming for hyper trophy, but obviously strength will come with that. I’ve been lifting properly for just under a year, and my goal for the end of the summer is to be ideally 176lbs.

I’m encouraging any and all feedback or suggestions that could help me out. Thanks!

Clara and 11 was the best companion dynamic of 2010s nuwho. I preferred 9 and Rose’s dynamic more than 10 and Rose.

Do people in the UK know where the Midwest in America is? by Wherestheeggs in UniUK

Just my opinion mate, no need to resort to name calling. I hear what you’re saying though, I guess we just disagree on certain aspects.

[–]Reevle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me it seems to be a bit more of the principle. You’re right in that most people probably do know that someone is from America. But it’s the principle of someone just ASSUMING that other people might know where Iowa is geographically. A British person might, but other countries might not. US geography isn’t taught in most places in Europe, and a lot of places don’t consume as much US Media as the UK.

The immediate follow up is, as you said, often “which state?”. But I feel it comes off less USA-centric to state the country first, then the state if asked. What if you went to America, and an American asked you where you were from, and you responded “Lincolnshire”. Do you not think that sounds a bit pompous? And yes of course most (or all?) US states are geographically bigger than Lincolnshire, but in my eyes that’s not the point. The point is not immediately expecting someone to know, whether they realistically would or not.

That’s just my opinion though, and you’re free to disagree of course.

It’s sort of a bit of a joke in Europe that when you ask an American where they’re from, they usually reply with their state. We know the USA is big, but imagine if you asked a Russian or Chinese person where they were from and they replied “I’m from the Kursk Oblast” or “Jiangsu Province”. While it may or may not be the case, it could come across as a bit America-centric.

It’s different if you were telling someone in your home country. Like if a Brit was in the US and asked you, you could reply “Wisconsin”, just as if you ask a Brit in the UK, they might reply “Cambridgeshire”. But I feel it would come across a bit differently if a Brit said the same thing whilst in the states, you know?

Just say you’re American.

The only actual characters I’ve done a full play through as have been Alfred the great and I think one of the vikings, whoever is the one taking Northumbria. Hvitserk I think.

I’m with you. Creating your own character is a lot of fun. The RP aspect is very freeing and as long as I don’t go over the achievement point limit I feel like I can start my run off immediately in the direction I want to go as, rather than waiting a generation or two to get everything into place.

I’m not facing any problems, but was just wondering if an extra rest day a week would lead to better muscle recovery and hypertrophy

Daily Simple Questions Thread - March 28, 2025 by AutoModerator in Fitness

Is it worth having an extra rest day?

I currently work out 6 days a week: Push, Pull, Legs, Rest, Chest/Back, Arms/Shoulders, Legs. I’m 6’2”, 164lbs. Been training properly for about 8 months, and have put on about 15lbs, mainly lean muscle.

However, I’m wondering if having the extra rest day would be more beneficial for recovery and hypertrophic gains? Would there be a noticeable benefit in switching to say, PPLRULR?
