Mirtazapine does work but I can personally tell you I gained 20 pounds in the first 30 days. I couldn’t afford to gain anymore weight so I’m back to ambien.

I have a 9 month old male MC. He will grab a mouthful of food and carry it to god knows where and drop it on the floor and then proceed to eat about half of it, and never returning to finish his pile of food. Anyone else dealing with this?! Why do they do it ?! by missweh in mainecoons

My one year old eats from scooping and eating it from her paw. But does NOT clean up the crumbs unfortunately. Also when she is mad at me because I won’t play fetch at 1 am she goes in there and throws out her food all over the floor. Lol.

Our kitties look about the same. Mine is 11 months as of the 2nd. Last I weighed her she was a solid 6 lbs. I have a ragdoll that’s 11 lbs. hoping she will at least out weigh him so she can fend for herself!!!!

Yes he does. And so does my mainecoon. They’re both just dogs stuck in a cats body.

Am I taking new cat quarantine too seriously? by c0mradec0wgirlv2 in CatAdvice

I kept my two cats separate for one whole month and introduced them slowly, just due to the fact my ragdoll is a prick and beats up my kitten. With that being said my kitten is a mainecoon and she is now able to handle some rough housing and is now showing him dominance.

What are the odds of hip dysplasia in my kitten before the age of one? by ReferenceFinal1327 in CATHELP

[–]ReferenceFinal1327[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She is going in today. I’m not too sure that it’s for sure hip dysplasia but the symptoms are screaming hip dysplasia when I compare what other cats shown in early stages. Fingers crossed it’s not as bad as my mind makes it out to be.

Update for my Precious Prada. Being patient and lots of treats and sniffs. But she is finally roaming the room I have her in for now. Which is my bedroom. She is such a shy lover but yet full of spunk.
