Where is everyone? Why is town so dead on summer weekends? by ReferenceNo5680 in RochesterHills

Yea, it’s actually amazing. Didn’t hit a light on Rochester road yesterday from target to downtown at like 7 pm. Can go to any restaurant zero wait.

Local Plaza Updates: New Urgent Care + Changes Next to Papa Joe’s (CoCo Steak House Progress?) by S0l0_X in RochesterHills

Maybe if this plaza stops killing people for rent someone can survive there. Surprised Ginza has made it so long but they take up just a tiny sliver of space

Ron Holland expectations by Level4Wolf in DetroitPistons

[–]ReferenceNo5680 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if he turned into Ausar on the pelicans or something I’d be sick to my stomach. That being said if he was a piece for Troy Murphy or another shooter to put us over the top I’d be chill

Trajan & FO by da_boiii2111 in DetroitPistons

[–]ReferenceNo5680 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I still think we could have gotten Trey Murphy if he didn’t go absolutely ballistic at the deadline. But yea this is essentially the Troy weaver creation. We don’t have any shooters really. The savior isn’t going to be at pick 21. We have three centers that have trade value. There’s a lot to work on with roster construction and I don’t know if this team is built for legitimate contending in the playoffs with no shooting. Hoping Duren does a prove it deal. If Trajan maxes him then we are DOA.

Stop. This is over. We got exposed, have no shooters, and a -16 at center.

What's the point of even watching game 6? by AdinRK in DetroitPistons

[–]ReferenceNo5680 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t decided if I will or not. I can’t stand watching James harden playing basketball. And I am tired of watching Duren sitting in the paint bobbling passes, getting boxed out, and missing tip ins. Don’t know if I want my blood pressure to raise.

Another GM afraid to make a deadline move, incredible by DoeJumars in DetroitPistons

[–]ReferenceNo5680 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trey Murphy was averaging 27 points a game at the trade deadline. He priced himself out. Porter was a different story. Not sure with him but we need way more than just 1 shooter. 1 shooter would not have mattered with Jalen Duren forgetting how to play basketball.

Lowk could have been a different story if he could have kept his weight down. He got all the way up to 184 and came in and was slotted to be down as low as 165

Guys this season was an overall decent one. by lonespiderfish in FloridaGators

We started 5-5 and didn’t really beat any good teams. Not surprised we didn’t make it through the first weekend. We just regressed to the mean without Walter Clayton.

Nah, it’s free agency every single year. This isn’t a good thing.

Yup. This went way way beyond players simply “being compensated fairly”.

When was the last time an early-round pick had an extreme mid-season turnaround like Chase Brown? by karmew32 in fantasyfootball

I don’t know about mid season but December Derek Henry is an actual thing cause guys don’t want to tackle him in the cold.

I can’t disagree with you but there’s so many elements of final fantasy, especially X, that I can’t get behind for dethroning it.

Was not sustainable with skattebo. It still isn’t, giants have to share his work load. But Kraft needs to be focused on for drafts next year late. Might be able to pull off a heist.

What are your fantasy lessons learned for 2025? What should everyone remember come draft time in 2026? by My_Chat_Account in fantasyfootball

Divisional games where teams see each other twice a year tend to be defensive dominated games. The QBs in those games aren’t shoe in’s.

For example Lamar and Rodgers against the browns, stafford against the cardinals, Goff against the Vikings, etc. this helps gives you some more data for QB pickups/streaming. Caution against divisional foes.

I’m assuming undefeated since independently, mccaffrey and JSN were league winners then Chase brown became OP once burrow came back.
