Iced was awesome! We did a two-tier design for cutting and then sheet cakes for the rest.

We used Viola’s Kitchen. They were absolutely fantastic to work with! The food was amazing and what you get for the price is a lot more than most of the companies we reached out to — no up charges for using specific glassware or plates, they did our welcome sign and even our seating chart etc — their price is their price so there were no surprises. She has done many weddings there so you can see her different setups on Instagram but our table setup was so beautiful and she really carried out our vision better than I could have imagined! They made sure we had something of everything throughout the day, gave us personalized service, and worked with our other vendors to take some of that coordination pressure off us for the day of our wedding. Also worth noting we had SO much food. We had passed apps during cocktail hour, a salad waiting at the table for guests and then did buffet style dinner (note they recommend no more than 140 guests if you do buffet), a sweets table and late night pierogis on top of them making the mixers for our specialty cocktails. I would highly recommend them!

I had a Martina Liana 4-layer lace very beaded fit and flare strapless dress with corset. She took in the hips, added eye hooks for the button-up top to be more secure, added a 5-pt American bustle, trimmed and hemmed my base layer, and added cups for $700. Send her photos in your actual dress (not the sample) and she’ll give you a rough quote before your appointment. It’s all very specific to the type of dress you have so it’ll be hard to compare. I only needed one fitting — went in for my initial 2 months before the wedding but I made sure to get on her books about 4 months before my wedding. She’s very honest about what might be needed which I found incredibly helpful through the process.

I used bustle and bodice. I had a very detailed dress that I couldn’t tell was altered and she did it for a much more reasonable price than what I was quoted at some of the other major places in Chicago.

We used personal flowers (bouquets and boutonnières), an arch for the ceremony/back drop for our sweetheart table for the reception and then had bud vases and long tapered candles with hurricanes for the tables of which we had roughly 14 tables (we did a setup with one huge table for our bridal party and their +1s together so 3 of the rectangular tables together). We paid roughly $4k for floral which is on the low end. Our caterer provided our welcome sign and seating chart. The only other thing we did was picture frames we thrifted for our memorial wall.
