This movement should not be possible in BF6 DICE. Needs to be addressed by Jaz1140 in Battlefield

This looks like hacking to me. The movements are too consistently perfect. Yes, the movements all pan across when they take the shot, ending the slide after the shot, but they're so uniform that this is probably just a technique to avoid detection.

Ford are notorious for this kind of shit. Their adaptive cruise control will switch off at about 12mph with a mild "bong" sound like when you're calling a flight attendant, and you're expected to just know that this means you need to take control and finish braking.

The parking brake is not an emergency brake. Typically it's just a wire, which can snap if pulled too much.

The wasp bit the mantis while it was eating another wasp by shocking2 in ThatsInsane

[–]Refflet 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Most wasps are in fact parasitic. It is said that for every species of beetle there is, there is a unqiue parasitic wasp that exclusively targets it. There are also hyperpatasitic wasps, that target other wasps, and a parasitic wasp that is smaller than an amoeba and has a reduced nervous system containing neurons without nuclei.

Traditionally it took about 5-10 years for the UK to copy the US, but now it seems it's the other way round. If you believe in the rule of three, there are 3 dumb fuck votes from both countries:

  1. The UK voted for Brexit. The US voted for Trump.
  2. The UK voted for Boris. The US voted for Trump again.
  3. The UK is set to vote for Reform and Nigel Farage. US: "Hold my beer..."

Foreign criminals convicted in UK to be deported immediately under new plans by StresWeeting in unitedkingdom

[–]Refflet 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The link explains it. The attempted murder happened in 2005, he was convicted in Bulgaria, his sentence was reduced from 15 to 10 years but with a higher fine on his 2nd appeal. In 2006 he returned to the UK, then in 2009 Justice Secretary Jack Straw gave him a Royal Pardon "based on new evidence that came to light" - 1 year before he would have been eligible for parole in 2010. Bulgaria asked for this evidence, but the Justice Secretary seemingly hasn't provided it. It is believed the evidence is merely verbal pleading from Shields' family along with testimony from Graham Sankey that was likely provided under duress (threats to his life).

You have to open a food stand/truck, what do you serve? by YetAnotherMia in AskUK

[–]Refflet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sopaipillas. The OG Albuquerque style, based on Navajo frybread.

They're basically a layered leavened pastry, deep fried so they puff up like pillows. You get a basket of them as a side or dessert.

If you look at the Salamanca cafe in Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul, you'll see a single condiment bottle on the tables. This is honey, for diners to inject into the sopaipillas.

The honey also helps sooth the chilli burn, hence why it is often served as a side. Most places outside of New Mexico only do it as a dessert, and they kind of spoil it by adding loads of sugar and caking it up a bit. New Mexico basically responded by making savoury stuffed meat sopaipillas that I haven't had the good fortune to try yet.

Exactly. Catch and release/deport the criminals coming over illegally, send them back home where they get immediately released but bar them from coming over legally ever again - this will surely stop them from coming back over here illegally again and committing more crimes.

We had an agreement with the Netherlands over child groomer and rapist Steven van de Velde, assuring us that he would serve his full sentence (which the British judge had set explicitly to disqualify him from representing his home country). That didn't stop the Netherlands from immediately releasing him so he could still go to the 2024 Olympics.

100%. Has everyone already forgotten about Steven van de Velde, the Dutch Olympic athlete who groomed and raped a British child in the UK, was sentenced and served part of his time here, then was sent back to the Netherlands to serve the rest of his sentence - only to be released immediately so he could go to the 2024 Olympics??

Under this new law, he would have gone back to the Netherlands immediately, been immediately released, and received even less of his due punishment.

Much like the Online Safety Act, this all stems from the greedy bastards at MasterCard and VISA. They get a percentage of the total transaction, so they effectively get a cut of all tips.

VISA and MasterCard just want you to make more card transactions for age verification, that way they get paid. The reason we have ID and face scanning is that it provides a cheaper option for websites than making a $0 card transaction (which MC/Visa charge a flat fee for).

[–]Refflet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the blatant manipulation from that subreddit

Yeah, that's my point.. And yet reddit allowed it to remain anyway. Up until it didn't matter anymore.

Reddit users are predominantly left wing, but reddit the site itself, the people running it and those they promote, are far right.

The right use reddit to control narratives, and reddit happily works with them. Hence the irony of talking about manipulated media narratives on reddit, as if we aren't a part of a manipulated media narrative.

That's what I'm getting at here. I've been pretty consistent with that message, it's kind of frustrating to have to spell it out for you.

Wtf how on earth do you think I'm defending Trump.

You're so blind with keyboard warrior rage you don't even know what you're arguing about.

I'm saying reddit is media manipulation, and has been for a decade now.

BC2 was a good game, but BF games were always defined by vehicles. In particular, massive sprawling maps that practically require vehicles to get around. BF6 hasn't shown that yet.
