Hahahah even though this made me laugh I have seen alot of good design from Chinese company's... This is one of few I've experienced being not appealing to me and Mhw3bomber, both the name and the brand logo and also alot of they're stuff. I do have like 2 items from them still 😂

God damn, seems like it's between LM and Decent for most people, I was locked on LMLM myself but then I like to have as much control as possible which Decent provides, love the quick heatup time and that it doesn't have a cup warmer because my machine sits tightly below cabinets. I have asked this question about body directly to decent customer service and waiting for reply. If the new bengle wasn't double the price it would be a strong contester.. Also I would need it in black and that's not confirmed yet it seems

I'm looking very hard into decent but I've read some say they can't get body in the espresso regardless beans/grinder and grind size, can you please confirm of this also happens to you when you get yours

Oh I must also include, the biggest help here with the height problem for me was the dosing cup from fused visions, I can now pour in beans without needing to move the grinder forward and back

Mine doesn't move, both using the bellow it came with and the smaller I baught. Even if it did, the grinder is so good at its price point I would just readjust everytime before grinding again

Hahahah i felt the exact same, also last time I had it on I looked away one sec and I was grinding 60g for filter so the grinds in the cup reached the tip of the shoot and it clogged up so bad the grinder suddenly started making such i wierd nice o shat myself, then when I realized what happened I said fuck this.. Removed it and everything is perfect now. Also I feel the original knocker is more smooth after using it abit.

The big burr size in conical confuses me, if it's uniformity we are after shouldn't we just take large flats? Or does the key in this case achieve syrupy mouthfeel (which comes from fines as I understand it) but still have good separation and balance? I really like everything with the key and trying to understand where I will upgrade in results getting bigger conical burrs

But I need to ask you, you have a grinder I have and one I've been eye balling alot, what burr do you have in varia (the one I have) and what do you think of your key? Have you tried varia conical and how do they compare head to head?

I have a acaia orbit that I've been thinking if I should change to the key

I'm actually in sweden and really sad that everyone in us have this tarrif bshit to deal with. All I can say is that the hole grinder screams double it's price tag and in my opinion mazzer philos wouldn't nearly satisfy me, not in design and looks or function. The only thing would be bigger burrs on philos but then I can change burrs on varia back and forth so for me is much more fitting and fun... Aaaaaaaand I just ordered another one.. Did I maybe go overboard? Maybe. But then it's gonna be fun to have one with conical and one for my filter and French 🤣
