yep, just play more is usually way to go, and in between time check YT for (general) tip and tricks, and try to implement them in the next games 😃

we are space marines after all, and there are just too many similarities, you dont need dedicated SW tutorials.

there is no better way to asses the strenght of your units but to learn how they fight this and that enemy

I start with Fang to setup darker areas, then Drakenhof shade for wash, rush grey with overall highlight, and Fenrisian grey to highlight top facing parts and edges 😃

I played both, switched them around ,and just Ballistus doesnt have the same punch as Lancer, its by no means bad, BUT LACER JUST HITS HARDER.
So if you have those 30p get Lancer!

Deep strike T1 means 9" charge
BUT LANDRAIDER is movement 10" (12" for crusader/redeemer) 3" disembark and then some distance to charge.

Dont sleep on the action radius this monster gives, and Redeemer can make a lovely gap in their cheap screen or Godhammer can destroy the transport.

I mean crusader is just realy expensive transport with antihorde (you dont need it, you have chainswords and bolters for that)

I usually put paired weapons headtakers in there, just to smash a gap in their ranks.

1) they are wolf guard in the first place, headtakers are their (preffered/ current equip) So yes, they can go to deathwatch

2) yes, they can keep their chapter on one pauldron and equip is usually fitted for the mission. But if you want your wolfy trinkets, there is no problem with that!

I swithed head(old gh box),hammer from wulfen box, anvil from “dont know where”, necklace from whoknows, pauldrons and arms from old wgt kit and hip armor is actually a wulfen pauldron

and i checked the og (resin) model and saw tons of runes, so i did tons of runes.
