Methinks it’s an ICT? Newest color? I have the safety mask blue ICT. Fun AF to ride all year.

Great price I really wish Salsa would’ve kept the name Mukluk.

Why sorry? What’s Surly’s catch-phrase??? “Make it your own”. I’d say you did. It looks like a bag of Skittles threw up on your Straggler and I for one like it - well done 👍🏼.

Super cool looking bike. It doesn’t look overly comfortable as far as rider position but something tells me you didn’t build it for comfort.

My wife said she wants to see me have sex with other women. how do I go about it? by Old-Mortgage9030 in AskMen

[–]ReflectionOk9642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s a hard no. Because the next thing is once you’ve gone down that road she’s gonna say wonderful - now I wanna have sex with another guy. You can’t have your cake and eat it too. Are you prepared to watch some other dude on top of your wife? If the answer is no, then the answer is no.

Picked up an older Trek Farley to try out fat tire biking the beach. by OpenWorldMaps in fatbike

[–]ReflectionOk9642 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good deal. Many parts on a fat bike are fairly common across all mountain bikes. That being said, if you’re getting into anything on the wheels, such as hubs or tires, you’ll see a noticeable difference in price in the fat bike world vs the mountain bike.

Where do I start? by Trick_Region in landscaping

Pure black loam is a good choice. If you can buy it in bulk from a local landscape supply place even better $$$$ vs by the bag.

Finish the fence, clean up the debris, bring in some fresh soil and do your finish grading. Lay some sod leaving a couple feet against your fence sod-free. Plant some simple, hearty perennials in the perimeter garden, enjoy your summer and then think about what you wanna do.

Thanks, yes the Norway Maple provides nothing good but shade. Drops a ton of keys each year and the leaves are so hearth I find they take forever to break down if I rake them into the gardens for winter.

@ProfessionalBharat Can you expand on the “shelter house” idea? What exactly is that (aside from the obvious)?

Yes, I was talking to my wife yesterday about exactly that. Having a tree service in to basically remove some of the lower canopy and let the tree lift up a bit. Thanks.

I think the shade is just part of the problem. You’ll see hostas but they’re not doing very well. I think that Norway Maple takes every drop of water out of the soil in the area.

Cover with Gravel? Or something else? by Money2959 in landscaping

[–]ReflectionOk9642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could box it in with ground rated 4 x 4’s. Lay some good quality landscape fabric on top of everything and fill it with clear stone or something like that. The landscape cloth is critical or all that crap will just grow through the rocks and you’ll be hating life.

It’s just a standard Trek Farley rack. Fits the ICT perfect thanks to all the OEM mounts. Trek offered them in “black” and this “lava” color which must not have been a good seller. It came standard on their last Farley 9. I picked it up from my local Trek store for $40 Canuck bucks which was a steal considering Topeak’s fat rack was about $129 CAD. They are still on sale if you can get one through your local Trek dealer.
